Was better before this update

I can’t find things as easily

Terrible App

I don't understand how medical apps in 2026 are so incredibly terrible. Smh

Improving

I have had My Chart for years and while it was not very intuitive, it has improved over the years.

Failed to fill a simple prescription refill

The App indicated I could request a refill online which I did. I followed up by phone call a couple days later and was told the request would be expedited. A couple days later another phone call resulted in the requirement for a Dr appointment before a simple stye ointment prescription could be refilled The earliest appointment was another 5 days away. This doesn’t rise to the medical need for Urgent Care but that is what I have to do to get a 1/8 ounce tube of ointment Unbelievably frustrating

Changed

Seriously why did it change the whole UI? I’m in California and the only option was Oregon, CA. I am not even sure where that is. It has all my information and now I have to select “forgot” to get my username. I could have just agreed to the new terms and conditions. Further more it doesn’t even show it, we just have to agree to it.

Information on MyChart

Either th website or some doctors seem to be very slow to show my information. Seems to be weeks behind.

Can’t update

Can’t update the app as required making the app no longer available for some. Super sad as I depend on it with multiple kids and use it regularly.

Patient

App is very user friendly nice to have all your info in one spot, better than trying to save a bunch of papers and look for them later.
Makes it easier to make appointments and see upcoming appointments.

Not intuitive

This app is supposed to save time. It doesn’t.

Update version

Why update? What this typically means to me is unnecessary changes to make life easier for YOU, not me. And I need to spend my time trying decipher what’s new. Maddening!

Very Helpful

I am so grateful for the My Chart app. I easily use it on my iPhone. My physician and her staff are quickly responsive to my messages. They also can easily contact me to set up appointments, ask me questions, and send me to the lab. Thank you for assisting me in meeting my health care needs.

New Updates, Reduced Functionality

It never baffles me how often new updates are pushed, when nobody asks, that change the UI and make the overall functionality worse of an app worse.

Of course, the new site is full of errors

I recently an email prompt to schedule lab work. Logged on. Saw the website has been redesigned. Found reminder to complete lab work. However, I am not due for lab work proven by the fact a specific test is not listed. I followed the link to the Labcorp site just for kicks, where a username and password is required but no test shown there either. So essentially, Providence has followed the Labcorp model of subpar care and communication and sent me (and my spouse) useless, confusing and disrespectful information because you are obviously counting on end users to provide the R&D you are too cheap and/or lazy to complete before you release something not ready for consumption. Shame on you. Providence.

App is broken now

You can’t do virtual appointments anymore it just keeps sending you to dead links it worked weeks ago whatever you did completely broke if

Not working properly

The new update locked me out and it will not let me find my network and exact location. Defaulting to a location I have never been to in a different city. It worked just fine before the update

horrible

the new update completely destroyed the app. it’s unusable. impossible to log in. it needs to be fixed immediately.

It sucks my phone is to old to support the update. So I health care is for the rich!

My phone is too old to support the updates

Not the best

This app is not the best app. It does enable you to communicate with your caregivers and the team, but unfortunately, it only allows you to communicate a minimal amount of information. Also, the Care team usually doesn’t get back to you for at least three days so if there’s something that you’re trying to finesse or need assistance with sooner, 1 has to call in and you know how that goes. The app is quite quirky as well and bumps you around all over the place. Specially difficult when labs or any other procedures have been ordered as to viewing what’s been ordered. I once had labs ordered for two weeks I couldn’t find it until someone from the office called me and asked me why I haven’t gotten them done. But it’s the only thing we’ve got to work with with these people so, I’m making the best of it.

Username password not enough. Text code. Email code. Verify this. Verify that. Better things to do than mess with ur app to make a simple apoointment

Unusable

Almost every link in the app returns with a message that there was a problem, please try later. This has been going on for months.
