Took my money and support were total douches

Customer "support" wouldn't even answer my simple questions, just said "we don't have your money man" over and over and then hung up on me. I'd live to travel the city and buy stuff and support the local economy but you have angry appholes working there who won't help me!

Screen dimming issue makes your phone/app unusable

This app has a critical bug where occasionally, it glitches out and brings your phone’s brightness down to the lowest setting possible, making it impossible to see anything on your screen, especially if it’s a sunny day. This has happened to me several times and has caused me to miss my bus due to it being impossible to pull up my bus pass. Incredibly frustrating

Go back to Connect Card

At least with the Connect Card, I could manage it online. This thing is a huge step back.

Terrible

Did anyone beta test this? Does the transit authority dislike tourists? It is 2026, we should be able to pay with credit card.

Even Baltimore has a better app.

Overly difficult and complicated

I just want to ride the bus. Why can’t I just tap my credit card or have this app bill my credit card as I use the transit system. Not a great way to encourage use.

True Time

The True Time portion of the app that tracks the bus times NEVER works. It took 45 minutes yesterday for anything to load and the map kept reconfiguring to areas outside of Pittsburgh. Very annoyed.

Terrible app

It is honestly better to use a compass and azimuth than this app. It drops pins in the middle of highways. There are multiple stops that drop you off without walking options from them.

FROZEN AND CANT USE

Got on the bus & couldn’t use or pay for a pass because the app is frozen! Another person boarded the bus & here is frozen as well. Please fix asap, people need to travel.

Super buggy app

The app is very buggy and does not feel native on iOS. It shows my pass as inactive when it’s active, shows an annoying notification at the top that is not relevant, it asks me to top up when I have a monthly pass, and doesn’t allow we me to add my pass to Apple wallet.

Please add Apple wallet support so I don’t have to go into the app!

Apple pay takes your $$$

Be careful because if you use apple pay it won’t actually buy a ticket. It charged me and it says I have $0

Works well

This app worked quite well for purchasing single tickets. I was able to purchase the ticket using Apple Pay then scan it when entering the bus, no problem. The bus tracking didn’t seem 100% accurate, that’s a minor quibble though.

Worst

I hate this app so much. It never scans - just pulls up my apple wallet so then I have to keep going back. Holds the lineup because we’re all doing the same thing.

Apple Pay bug

Apple Pay should be disabled when qr code is showing to scan. Please fix this

Declines cars

This app will not take one of my debit cards the first time I tried using this particular card it works every time after that it’s declined it there’s been numerous times or that’s the only card I had money on and I needed to get on the bus and couldn’t becausethe app keeps declining that card

Not ready

Does not support children fares and scanner on bus keeps going to Apple Pay instead of recognizing the activated ticket.

The app is horrible, I had to bought it again

The app is horrible, I activated the ticket right before I board on the bus, but the QR code doesn’t work, so I have to bought a second ticket

Please fix Apple Pay

Great app but please fix it so that Apple Pay works as a payment option. Or remove that button option completely because it is so prominent.

Why? Just why?

Why do we need to add funds? I can pay for metered parking using an app connected to a credit card. Why not bus fare? Actually, why do we need an app at all? Other city’s systems accept Apple Pay - this technology is available.

Tap & Ride Feature not fully working

The app has the ReadyRide feature which automatically deducts the cost of a ticket from a saved balance. This works most of the time; however, some buses aren’t programmed properly and you’ll get an invalid error code so to ride the bus you end up having to buy a ticket instead. It can be embarrassing when you have a rude bus driver talking to you like you’re either an idiot or a degenerate trying to get a free ride. I have countless emails to/ from management who’s told me that it’s the device in the bus that’s faulty not the app/ phone. You need to be careful because sometimes if you have a ticket( daily/weekly/monthly) it will still deduct money from your account, essentially double paying. I have NEVER been refunded when this happens. Email customer service and all you get is apologies but apologies don’t get you to work.

Completely Inoperable

Won’t even open. Have sat for minutes with a black screen waiting for the app to load. Completely inoperable.
