Bad puffin browser
It has been a few weeks the puffin cloud browser not working properly.
Used to be Good
Several websites simply do not load anymore & desktop view does not work.
crashes
crashes everytime i try to change gamepad layout.
It’s just terrible
Somehow I was blocked by captcha every time I tried to go Into the app without a von at all

flagging as malicious
i’ve just visited a site on another browser. i’ve visited multiple times on at least two browsers. i attempted to visit on this app, as my first use.

i’m also concerned that it uses google, which is not private and collects data.
i like that the app itself does not collect data — but if it simply directs me to a web apparatus that does, what’s the point? (even if i could load anything).
edit: right after posting, i went back to the app to close it, it was asking me to allow paste from photos. i hadn’t clicked or anything or done anything. i was simply going to close app.

Can’t change gamepad
This is shaping up to be a game changer for me to play old school flash games! Only bad thing is whenever I try to change th buttons of the gamepad it crashes, if this can be fixed I’ll love this app forever!

Captcha is non existent now so if a site uses it don’t use this browser

Mainly put, this app’s concept is underrated and honestly, very much perfect for legacy devices, considering that [at time of writing] it currently requires iOS 8.0 according to the App Store page.
However, I do have a question regarding how updated the browser is, server-side. If I attempt to access chatgpt.com or Microsoft Copilot (which yielded nothing), it basically resolved in a permanent redirect - AKA Cloudfare’s code 308.
Youtube - at least the Mobile page that I’ve specifically tried - doesn’t really load; it just shows the feed attempting to load but everything’s blank.
This is the type of solution that, had it been taken care of well to this day, would’ve addressed iOS’ system-wide WebKit restriction and thus made older iPhones much more easier to daily - but with the way things are, one has to become creative.
At least Google Search works, though. 😆

“Unusual traffic”
your system detects unusual traffic? i literally just downloaded the app and tried to search ONE thing. when i clicked to solve the captcha to “prove” i’m not a robot. It didn’t even work!! uninstall
Doesn't work anymore
I don't even mind paying. It used to work. I need it to force desktop website on ios. Now it won't even load any version of the the site, SSL Mismatch Errors.
Worst dev team
I remember buying puffin on my Android device and having privacy concerns but the developers accused me of pirating their software because I purchased it on another device initially. We spent days arguing in the review section before I advertised the debacle to my affiliates and started to affect their average rating as a whole on Android. Remember Fenny? I’m still around and still have yet to find a worse developer than this.

broken on ios 16
i have this on my iphone 7 and last ik it worked fine but on my 8 plus it really doesn't work
It doesn’t even let me into the app
It doesn’t even let me on the internet and it keeps asking me for security bot stuff like select all images with buses, motorcycles and it never stops asking me and that’s all this app does.

whenever im trying to log into episode, it doesn't use my apple ID right away. when i type in my CORRECT email and password, it says i'm incorrect!! fix this!!
The verification is broken
Basically, if you’re on the browser, it constantly makes you want to verify that you are human and not a robot but it always has an error and it never detects if you’re human.
The app used to be good but not anymore and it’s downright awful now.
