Usage (or a lack of)

I put Puffin Cloud Browser on my phone, but no matter what website I try opening, all it shows is a blank white screen. I don’t know if it’s lagging or just not working, but either way the app got aggravating too quickly. I don’t recommend this for anyone. 😮‍💨

FAQ

What does Puffin Cloud Browser do?

Puffin Cloud Browser acts as a client application that connects to a cloud server running a web browser. It displays web content rendered on these remote servers, rather than rendering it directly on your device. This allows for features like data saving and accessing content that might not be compatible with local browsers.

What are the key features of Puffin Cloud Browser?

Key features include browser isolation for enhanced security, cloud acceleration for faster browsing, data saving capabilities, the ability to download files directly to the cloud, support for Flash games, a full desktop mode, internet access protection, and a virtual gamepad/mouse/trackpad.

Is Puffin Cloud Browser free to use?

The application is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases. This suggests that certain features or extended usage might require payment.

What are the limitations of Puffin Cloud Browser?

This app only works for publicly accessible websites from the US and in countries without excessive censorship. It does not work for private IP addresses, corporate intranets, or geo-restricted websites. Some websites may require their IP addresses to be whitelisted due to potential excessive load from Puffin's servers.

Who is Puffin Cloud Browser for?

This app is designed for users who want to access web content rendered remotely, potentially to save data, play Flash games, or experience a full desktop browsing environment on their mobile devices.
