What's New in Pulse

1.2.7

August 11, 2026

You can now lock Pulse behind Face ID. Turn it on in Privacy & Safety, and your chat, your story and your readings stay yours when you hand your phone to someone. A broken heart joins the quick gestures. Tap it to send it quietly. Hold it, and the screen breaks for both of you. A kiss landing and the shower of hearts each have a sound of their own now. You can turn effect sounds off in Settings. Nearby date ideas show where they actually are, and you can open the full place details, photos included, before you suggest anything. Fixed the chat opening partway up the conversation instead of at your newest message, and a blank chat when the last thing either of you sent was a GIF. Photos and GIFs no longer slide over the title at the top of the screen.
