Onerous registration, awful mobile support
Took 10 minutes to try to enter credit card details. Doesn’t let you use Apple Pay or any native payments. Form fields don’t accept password manager input. Continues to pester me about trying to track my location even when I’m not using It, which is actually the whole entire point here. Incredibly frustrating experience all around. Overall, just a much worse online ordering experience. Poor choice by Purple Bowl.

Very convenient
This app is very convenient. The only problem is that when I left the screen to go and get my credit card number out of my password app on my phone, it took me out of the payment module. Small glitch aside this app was helpful and I appreciate being able to schedule in advance. It would be a bonus if I could earn points on my orders and be aware of when I’m getting them, but that’s not really a big deal

Best spot in Chapel Hill!
My girlfriend works here and she put me on, I love this place so much bruh. The food is amazing, the people are amazing and the app works just as good, I will be a Purple Bowlhead til the day I die
Adding gift card error & unable to scan in-person
Wish I could add a gift card when checking out. Also wish you could scan the app in person to be able to earn points in-store too.

It only lets me add a card and I don’t have my physical card on me. So enabling Apple Pay would be soo beneficial.

Can’t use reward points
Loved the app until a few weeks ago. The app now won’t let me use my stars for a free bowl. I can “spend” my stars but it doesn’t actually discount the money, so I still have to pay full price. Once that issue is fixed, 5 stars!
Adding gift card error & unable to scan in-person
I can’t add a gift card to the “payments” tab. An error keeps coming up saying “could not add Payment Option. Undefined”. Also wish you could scan the app in person to be able to earn points in-store too.

Currently Gift Cards are not supported for this merchant and we removed the ability to add gift cards. We will follow up with merchant to discuss future plans about Gift Cards and Ability to Scan in person.

Recently downloaded the app and I think the idea of it is great, but I cannot seem to add a gift card to the “payments” tab. It keeps saying “could not add Payment Option. Undefined”. Also I wish they told the descriptions of each of the already set acai bowls and I wish there was an eat-in option.

My Favorite Breakfast! So easy!
I love this app because it makes ordering so simple. I generally order my bowl and leave the house about ten minutes later. When I get to Purple Bowl there it is waiting for me on my way to class!!!
Great app, but please add descriptions
We love using this app as we constantly find ourselves rushing over to have delicious Purple Bowl and love that our order is ready when we arrive. The only thing is that we always forget what the base ingredients of each bowl are so we have to look up the website because they’re not listed on the app. If you add the ingredients to the app, that would be incredibly helpful so we don’t have to toggle between the website and the app. Thank you!
