Dreadful App

After using eMates at Cardiff prison with NO issues whatsoever I have experienced one problem after the next with purple post. Four of my friends - all graduates with decades of life experience- could not use it! My conversations with the support team has filled at least 6 pages, I’ve written to my MP requesting it be looked into as it is not currently fit for purpose. My last post incurred a technical error but I’m not entitled to a refund. The length of the postcards are far too short - there was no limit with eMates. It all seems to be about money and you need to be tech savvy to stand half a chance of using it or understanding the help provided by the tech team.

Diabolical Photo upload

Every time I try to upload photos it doesn’t allow it because of “adult content”! kids with birthday cakes , at party’s and holiday snaps should be allowed it clearly isn’t working to a good enough standard. Frustrating to say the least.

Should be able to check if the prison even has this service as well as the video calling before being prompted to buy credits. Wasted money, albeit only like 3 quid, that could’ve gone on our three children or to their Dad inside. Not exactly rolling in it out here by myself.
