I have been using Pushover for over five years, and it is one of those rare services that quietly and genuinely improves your life. It is always reliable, never intrusive, and does exactly what it promises.
Over the years, Pushover has become the central nervous system for nearly everything I want to monitor. It keeps me informed about my computer backups, email bounces, HVAC fans, HomeKit activity, leak detectors, alarm status changes, and Dropbox updates. Some notifications arrive only when something needs my attention; others provide reassuring hourly status updates.
The result is that I never have to waste time checking all these different systems, or even remember to check them. If something important happens, Pushover tells me. If everything is working normally, it can tell me that too.
As I have automated more of my home and digital life, my use of Pushover has exploded and in this case, more truly is better. It stays out of the way while keeping me effortlessly in tune with everything that matters.

No regrets , i set it up for keeping an eye on my infrastructure, glad its a one time purchase not a SaaS, now i can avoid opening telegram or my emails and get distracted while working. This helps me cut out the noise

There are two and only two things that deserve five stars, and this is one. I guarantee you should sign up for it. Seriously. Do it before it costs $20 because it should and it's so useful they'll probably have to do it
What a great app!!!
There digital is so confusing in this space but this app legit cuts thru the clutter and rises to the top. I don’t even usually rate apps but this one has made my life so much easier in that anything in my Microsoft world among multiple machines can now funnel notifications thru this platform. I HIGHLY recommend this app!!

Easy to setup
Perfect poor man solution to put a basic monitoring in less than 1 hour for the cost of a cup of coffee
Won’t open on 26.6.2
Love using Pushover for sending myself notifications through various projects such as Home Assistant and some custom code I’ve written for things. Unfortunately, after upgrading to 26.6.2 it will no longer open. Nothing happens, just won’t open. No other apps exhibit this issue, push Pushover.
