What's New in Qaswa Connect
1.0.1
September 9, 2026
Prayer times Friday now shows Jummah in your prayer list and in the countdown, and rolls to the next Jummah as each one finishes. Athan now plays on your phone with your own sound and volume, kept separate from the iqamah times your masjid sets. The countdown on Home is larger and easier to read. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island banner moves to the next prayer on its own at iqamah instead of sitting on a finished countdown. The Home Screen widget stays current, and no longer shows Friday's times for the rest of the week. Calendar A Calendar tab replaces Events and shows your masjid's month at a glance. Event pages are rebuilt, and Happening Now reflects what is actually on. Speakers and khutbahs Browse the speakers at your masjid and see everything they have given there. Khutbah videos now play inside the app. Announcements Masjids can pin a location to an announcement, so you can see it on a map and get directions. Announcements can also be written ahead of time and set to repeat. Board members Masjids can introduce their board, with photos and contact details. Smaller fixes Clearer cards in Discover, tidier sheets, and the AM/PM label no longer breaks onto its own line on Home. Admin tools for masjid staff are faster and easier to follow.
