Asks for password and can’t even do password reset, what an utterly horrible app

I’ve used the app for years, even through changing schools.
And it’s been pretty good..
I have kids in high school and primary school.. and they are NOT nearby locations, which has several slots.. I have to search every time to swap between the 2 schools!!!!!!
ADD FAVOURITE LOCATIONS!!!
A reminder notification would be good too.. like half hr before orders close at your canteen…

Avoid
Pathetic glitchy app - no response when charged repeatedly for the same order after receiving error messages on checkout. Zero correspondence after several emails.
Bad authentication mechanism
Here is why I am leaving you guys a 1 star review. I want you to actually read this. While your app itself is good in concept, the authentication mechanism is so difficult to navigate it becomes tedious to perform basic tasks.
I am logged in, yet in order to perform a lunch order payment I am prompted for my password (again). It’s 2026. Build Face ID or a more user friendly with mechanism. Also MFA wouldn’t hurt.

Pushing for my school to use an alternative
Asks for your location every time you open it, even though it’s completely unnecessary for it to function. If you use it for multiple schools, it only shows you the one you used last instead of a list. And when it comes to consent forms, you have to fill out the exact same details *every single time*.

Guys. I used this for 2 years with no drama and now it refuses to log me in no matter what I do. And it’s the only way to order food at my kids school 🙃
No support for password managers
My password manager could create a new password and populate the password box but could not fill out the confirm password one. So i ended up manually creating an entry in my password manager for this app to fill out both boxes. I am software developer, but not everyone is savvy with password managers.

No longer working
App has stopped working and producing an error code. NSURLErrorDomain
Cannot log in. Have uninstalled and re installed with the same issue on apple devices.

Can’t do anything
Try to access this app all you get is nsurl error. Can log in. Can’t create an account, can’t do anything or see anything if you are in an account.

Another example of software written by people who never have to use it.
Locking parents out of their accounts for 30 minutes after a single failed login attempt is absurd. It creates unnecessary stress right when they’re trying to get kids out the door.
It’s obvious the developers behind this don’t have children—or much empathy. They’re probably twenty-somethings in Silicon Valley, or worse, whoever was cheapest to hire given how poorly this app is built.

Locked out!
A very silly and poorly developed app that locks you out for 30 minutes despite putting in the correct password.
Please fix that if you enter the correct password it overrides the lockout.

Absolutely terrible!
Fix this app, i tried buying shorts for me, but this low quality, garbage app wont even let me enter without lagging.
Even after i managed to get in (which took me an entire day!!), THE SCHOOL ITEMS WOULDN’T LOAD, it’s just an empty, white screen.

WORST APP EVER
I have been using this for Tuckshop for the last 4.5 years and we have not had it go smoothly ONCE. NOT ONCE. There is always an issue and the school Tuckshop has NO IDEA how to help. SCHOOLS - FIND ANOTHER APP.

It say I have no wifi/internet when all my other apps work fine and my internet is secure.
This shouldn’t be allowed for schools
I am now up to my third month of waiting for their support team to contact me back. I can’t even create a new account because I can’t log out even if I uninstall the app and reinstall. I can’t order my kid lunch orders, order uniforms or anything. If you are a school don’t do this to the parents! If you are a parent I highly suggest you tell your school no to this horrible app and disastrous customer service.

Login failures
Everytime I use the app I have to reset my password. Every. Single. Time.

Horrible signup experience, high friction
Can’t fill passwords from password managers into the signup form. Can’t use Google or Apple ID to signup. I refused to use it right there and uninstalled.
