My home is on the San Andreas Fault in California and I have friends who live on Great Barrier Island in New Zealand and I check whenever there is an alert and a couple of times during the day. If there was a 8 on the coast with a tsunami it would be necessary to move to higher ground so the app is important!

Timely & Accurate Reporting
I sometimes get the alert the second before the shaking starts. Pretty accurate, and they update the same quakes if they end up honing in on the proper magnitude of them.

This is a good app. The best.

I have been using the wildfire portion of this app for a week now. In the media is the talk and images of the catastrophic fires in France. This app does not show ANY fires in France despite the 100,000’s of people being evacuated.
How can I recommend an app that doesn’t show something as major as this? And I’m paying for pro.

So fascinating,
The app is so interesting, not only the earthquakes info but fires, smoke, hurricanes, tsunami warnings, volcanoes, etc. It is great. It’s amazing to see the earth in action!

Had to uninstall
Only reason I’m giving 3 star is because I’ve had it for 7 plus years and I use to be notified of everything and now I receive no notifications unless it’s out of the US. Regardless of how my settings are filtered, I don’t get anything. It’s disappointing lol cause I hate change!!!
Great App
This is a great app. Very easy to use and navigate all the settings and options. If you feel an earthquake, just log on and instantly find out the information. Also, links directly to USGS site for even more detailed information.

Keeps me updated because we live in a very earthquake prone area. Alaska. I wish however it also gave more international data like the many quakes in japan Philippines and Indonesia
