App that doesn’t work 80% of the time
I have been using the app for more than a couple years now. For 80% of first year nothing would load, I would just encounter a white screen and that would be it. This year things a little different, it makes me log in with Face ID 5 separate times and then it’s a coin flip whether it loads in 20 seconds. I have not used a worse app.

Can’t login
What problems are with just login into the system this morning? Terrible

Terrible .. very slow and not an easy UI to navigate

Slow and terrible app. Tales forever to open. Useless app. Why can’t you guys upgrade it asap.
review for Questrade itself
the company itself is changing alot and has hidden fees (example, they told me international wire fee is 40$ but I received 60$ less, and they blamed it as a receiver fee- which was not true, anyhow, end up just getting tired of them and closed my accounts)
the app is ok, down sides are
1- some times a lot of lag and it keeps waiting to receive responses
2-sometimes asks for credentials to log in and after few seconds it says "you successfully logged out!" -> dude, I was already logged out and needed to log in! seriously!?! and it happens few times in the row so I have to kill the process and load it again!
but the company it self is not recommended, many hidden fees

App isn’t great
The app logs you out multiple times after asking you to enter the password. It also just doesn’t load the UI half of the time. Prob one of the worst banking related apps out there

The software too slow to login
Terrible app performance.
Slow, slow, slow. Where it isn’t slow, it’s unresponsive. No apparent effort at design. Now, it’s making me login twice, insisting that I logged out in the first instance. Hey Questrade - wake up!!
Canadians deserve better
I wish we had Robinhood and less protectionism.
Ridiculously slow
Your app is terribly slow and its UI is horrible. Upgrade it or I will move to other brokers. You collect commission fees and this is what we get?
Constantly crashes
The platform is great on computer but this app is horrible.
Terrible app, terrible UI
I’ve been complaining about their mobile app, their terrible UI for almost a decade now, nothing changes. When I was in college, I met a recruiter from Questrade, and was told that they outsource their core engineering to other countries, while keeping all the suits domestic. Classic losing strategy, instead of keep hiring useless sales and passing out bonuses for your self congratulatory sessions, why don’t you invest in your app that has been terrible for so long? Where is the money going?

Very poor quality app
This app needs an update. Very poor quality and often times it doesn’t open for me. App UI is also very ancient. Other competitors are doing much better and their apps are much more advanced.
App continues to freeze
I love to using Questrade; however, recently the app consistently freezes, the trading page does not load. The same issues also occur in their desktop /web browser app. It very frustrating, because u can never make trades on time. Hopefully it’s fixed soon.
Inferior phone app
Serious problems that have caused me losses in trades
1. Sign on page doesn’t lead to home page after putting in login credentials. Gets lost somewhere. Killing app and relaunching also doesn’t help.
2. Once inside, the orders page showing the list of orders doesn’t show up well. The order you have in mind disappears to end of page or beginning of the page when you’re about to go click it. Highly annoying.
Both these problems have severely hampered my trading experience. And you charge $5 per trade. Shame!

Appallingly bad.
Horrific customer service, user interface is constantly unresponsive and having issues, lost over $14000 due to outages, for which they have offered nothing. Do not download this app, do not trust this company with your money. I have been attempting to withdraw funds for over three weeks, to no avail. I have no other words to describe the innumerable shortcomings of this service. Simply appalling. Ineffable.
