DONT

Don’t buy!!! Doesn’t work in the slightest 🤬

Doesn't work

I purchased this app because I shoot alot of slingshot and thought it would be cool to have a rangefinder on my phone for the times I forget my go to rangefinder. This app does not work, at least on my phone.
All I get is a white screen. Hopefully the developer can fix my problem. I'm not saying to not buy this app, because there is only a couple of reviews on it. Like I said, if the developer can fix the problem, then I will be glad to change my rating.

This app is absolutely terrible. I tried to see several vehicles in my parking lot ranging from 50 to 75 feet and the app showed all of them to be over 3000 feet away. My desk here at work showed up at 1100 feet and it was only a foot and a half away. What a waste of money.

Excellent concept and ease of use

On my sailboat I am always in need of a quick range check to channel markers or land. The problem is that I have to use a chart plotter or such, or know the exact height of the remote object and have a transient to measure the angles. This tool reverses the math and I need only know the distance in height between my first and second reading.

Here is a great trick for very accurate fixes. 1) get a yard stick or something you have the exact height of. 2) set that height in the settings. 3) take care to accurately overlap the two images.

I took 14 range fixes from my iPhone on my sailboat and compared them to the very accurate chart plotter. The accuracy was amazingly close.

Perhaps the developer would consider adding azimuth and bearing in the future. :-)

Garbage!!!!!!!!!!

This product deserves no stars.... A box that is 4 ft away registers as 36 ft on this waste of a download!!!!
