Finally a Letterbox’d for Sports with NO GAMBLING SLOP
I’m a huge letterbox’d user and I have been looking for something like it for sports (my first love) I’m very pleased to say that not only does RateGame fulfill that need it goes above and beyond just rating games. There’s challenges to partake in like the World Cup pick em challenge im currently in, there’s an awesome live chat that is fun to be a part of during games. There’s really cool achievements you can get and so much more like writing did you knows on sports and players and teams. I can go on! But perhaps the best thing about rate game is the fact that there is literally nooooo gambling slopppp anywhereeeee. The community doesn’t talk about it there’s no ads on it, I’m shocked at how RateGame has managed to maintain such a positive space considering how sports gambling has taken over sports. Grateful to have found this app and community and congrats to the team behind it. Big fan!

Makes watching games extra fun
This app has made watching the World Cup extra fun! It’s also so much easier to follow the game schedules on here than the fifi app

This app is amazing with a great community, and should definitely be more popular than it is. From being able to choose your favourite teams, to having live game chat where you can celebrate or cry with others, it makes the app experience so much better than other sports apps!

the next great interactive community sports app
i never ever write reviews but this app and the fantastic people that run it, at the very least deserve a couple minutes for me to ramble about how great this thing that they got going is.
if there was a way to exceed the five star rating limit they have, I would for this app and give it double. the layout is simple and very user friendly which allows you to find and access all of the features available on this app very easily. the community is very open and lightening, there is almost always people talking about any sport you could think of (because they have just about everything) and it’s a place where everyone feels allowed to share there own personal opinions/takes without being criticized. lastly i want to share how incredible the team is that makes this engine run. these people are actively in the community space and continuously LISTEN and make changes that make this apps experience better. always making each individual person feel noticed and welcomed as well right off the jump.
there are many other things i could point out and say about how great this app is and why I believe it succeeds it’s competitors. but that’s not the point nor the goal of the people running this platform. there goal is creating a community and space where sports fanatics of any kind can get together and express there passion and love for the art of sport and they are succeeding in creating that space in every level.
get ahead of the curve and experience it for yourself.

Best Sports App I’ve Found
I wish I would have found this sooner, but glad I did. Have always wanted a community of sports fans to talk with and an alternative for the crazy world of sports betting right now. Sports have gotten back to their essence of when I was a kid thanks to this, would recommend to anybody!

Great App, pics on reviews
As an avid Letterboxd user I was always waiting for something like that for sports. It takes that original idea, but expands upon it in a creative way. I love the stadium and motm features. Something I’d love to see added is the ability to upload a photo (or more or a video) on a review; I feel like this would add more to the personalization especially when attending a game. I pray this doesn’t fall to the money-grabbing nature most apps fall to; adding new features under a subscription is fine, but please don’t make current features sub-only 🙏🙏

Very great concept I’m definitely going to use this after watching games. It would be great if you could add more games from the past and especially more ⚽️ like serie a, bundesliga and the main big leagues

I find myself in watching the entire game more and am eager to watch games to I can use this app.

Perfect app for people who love sports inside and out. Gives you options to rate and talk about any game of your choice. Amazing app and amazing people to work with!
Alright but much room improvement
Rarely make reviews but the concept of the app is really good. Still pretty unfinished though. Largest factor being no game for any sport before 2024 exists on the app. Also not being able to add my favorite teams or games to profile

Would love if there was champions league and Motorsport races as well

One I think it really needs improvement on is the daily Streak system. It doesn’t make sense. I only add to my streak in I believe a 6 hour window. Like 6pm to midnight. Anywhere after or before it just doesn’t count for whatever reason. I just don’t get why it isn’t actually on the 24 hour day of posting a review.
Another thing is I hope it gets more leagues. Like the NLL and PLL would be great. The AHL and ECHL for more hockey. Even the UFL would be cool. But I hope that all comes in time.

Thanks so much for this feedback! You actually identified a problem with our streak system and we've since fixed it so it aligns with the timeframe you mentioned. I hope you've been rating games with us in the meantime and are on a new rate streak by now! We will continue to add leagues until we have them all. Refreshing and Rewarding
A complete cleanse for the dopamine and serotonin receptors, this app is analog in a way that feels more like OG twitter and less like a toxic algorithm trained to zap whatever’s left of your attention span with AI slop. Real sports fans are rating games with their real opinions in this community. Really. I feel more knowledgeable and less anxious every time I read some takes and rate some games. Great stuff. Thanks for going against the grain!

Cool, but not much purpose.
I love the app, love the idea, I hope it does well. I just don't know what the point is. There is an excellent foundation, but the developers really need to add some kind of "gamification" to make the app really do well.
