What's New in REALITi

11.23.0

Alarms Improved alarm behaviour on the Generic screen by ensuring alarm limits update correctly when switching patient age profiles, with ETCO₂, respiratory rate, non-invasive blood pressure, and temperature alarms and visual indicators now triggering correctly when values move outside configured limits. Corrected Schiller monitor SpO₂ alarm limits so they now follow the selected age profile correctly. Corpuls Improved AED shock recommendation behaviour so shocks are now correctly recommended when ventricular fibrillation (VF) or ventricular tachycardia (VT) rhythms are detected. Improved pacing behaviour when ECG waveforms are hidden or disconnected. Pacing now stops appropriately when ECG data is unavailable, and users are prompted to connect therapy electrodes when pacing cannot be displayed. Updated the C3 signal intensity bar to provide a more realistic indication of perfusion level. The bar no longer flashes with every heartbeat and now reflects the selected perfusion setting. CPR Console Fixed an issue where enabling CPR could display incorrect heart rate values. The configured CPR rate is now shown correctly, the previous heart rate is restored when CPR is disabled, and repeated activation no longer causes heart rate values to increase unexpectedly. Improved readability of CPR timing information by displaying elapsed and hands-off times using a consistent HH:MM:SS format. Facilitator/Control Improved consistency of blood pressure values, units, alarm limits, and exported recordings across Control, Monitor, Camera, and other connected displays when measurement settings are changed. Corrected blood pressure display behaviour to ensure systolic and diastolic values remain accurate across connected screens. Fixed an issue where non-invasive blood pressure alarm limits were not triggering correctly in some situations. iSimulate Community Improved the reliability of importing, uploading, and downloading Community scenarios. Fixed an issue where importing scenarios from REALITi could fail to start. Resolved a crash that could occur while downloading Community scenarios, improving overall stability. LifePak 15 Enhanced the AED training workflow with updated voice prompts, on-screen guidance, and improved prompt timing to better match device behaviour during training scenarios. Added appropriate prompts for non-shockable rhythms, including "Check for pulse" and "If no pulse, start CPR", along with translated text and voice prompts for supported languages. Prevented 12-lead ECG acquisition while in AED mode and added a notification explaining when the function is unavailable. Improved the 12-lead ECG workflow by retaining patient age and sex between consecutive ECG recordings during the same session. Updated Manual mode metronome guidance to use spoken ventilation prompts with improved timing for a more realistic training experience. Mindray BeneHeart D30 Added support for the Mindray BeneHeart D30 monitor. Zoll X Corrected CPR depth units and formatting so measurements remain consistent when switching between centimetres and inches. Fixed several display issues affecting AED mode, including BVM positioning, CPR display overlap, ventilation information, and Manual Mode exit dialog navigation, resulting in a clearer and more reliable user interface. Others Improved the confirmation message displayed after submitting a bug report, including clearer guidance and a reminder to connect to the internet so reports can be successfully sent to the support team.

good app, no price

I’ve used REALITi many times and it’s a great app for realistic CPR simulation. Unfortunately there is no price indicated so I assume it’s way too expensive for a small remote clinic to access.

The most dynamic readily available sim for EMS ed

Our accredited paramedic program utilizes multiple monitor units coupled with 3B Scientific mannequins. You need to learn how to run them, and yeah you’ve gotta pay for the service, but once you’ve got it down it’s an absolute asset for initial paramedic education and ongoing agency training. Tech support has always been helpful and they’re obviously always working to improve their product.

Great Sim software but only for enterprise

Ive been writing up sims and while I was excited to download and test these on my MacBook connected to my iPad Pro before uploading them to the isumulate community or to our work iSimulate pro system, I get the impression you need a license to make this ecosystem work. To the developer, is there a way that individuals like myself can connect the control and 2 monitors (one for patient monitor one for vent for example) to test scenarios, or use these to help with tutoring without spending a huge amount on linked iPads - seems a shame to be able to download such comprehensive software with out such an option.

Terrible

App only connects with 2 iPads for a minute and then stops working.

Would be good if it actually worked right

You can’t go more than five minutes without the rhythm crashing into asystole.
