Not that great
This app is terrible because every time I submit something it tells me there’s an error. Then it’ll find my receipts online and tell me to hit submit and I do and it tells me an error. This happens more time than when it works correctly.
And now for the last month, it won’t link to my Amazon account even though I’ve done to do. could it be because I buy just about 99% of my items on Amazon.
And compared to Fetch it takes an awful long time to get points

Receipt Hog Shopping rewards
I have been using this platform for awhile and I have not had any problems using their platform. I would highly recommend Receipt Hog to scan your receipts and take surveys to earn cash or gift cards. A++

You always have to watch
It’s great earning the benefits of this app, but there’s always issues with the receipts submitted even if there’s nothing wrong with them. They’re constantly flagging them for errors or if the print is off a little on the receipt, you always have to watch because they’re taking back the points you think you already earned even when receipt is fine.

Empty reward card
Every time I load 1000 points, I use it on my routine cosmetic that’s not too expensive in Amazon. Was working fine before but the last couple of times the $5 reward gift card came out empty.
Reading Dates
While this app is ok it has some huge issues, it reads dates backwards and then says the date is old. My receipt dated August 4 was read as April 8th . This is the 2nd time this has happened not to mention why only 20

The survey after scanning each receipt asking who was involved in the purchase is annoying. Get rid of that and I’ll give you the 5th star
Frustrating app
The “receipt reader” for this app must be in dire need of an update. Once you (attempt) to submit a photo of your receipt with the business, date and amount clearly in sight Receipt Hog is unable to capture the information on the image. Some receipts are later denied due to not being able to “read” clear information on receipt. Then you’re left trying to “correct”
an old receipt or submitting numerous photos. I could understand if receipt was unreadable or missing information but receipts are very clear and readable.

Instead of just getting daily points, add up to take the leaderboard all your points so you get each game and you can get bonus fish or bonus games
Terrific app
I’ve used this app for years and earned hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards. Everything about Receipt Hog is great. Unlike similar apps, it’s really easy to take pictures of receipts.
