Saving Recipes Is A Breeze BUT Retrieving Is Another Story
Recent use of this app has prompted me to update my review from a 5 star to a 1. When I am able to access the recipes, I still love the app. Recently, however, since they “updated”the app, I regularly cannot retrieve a recipe from my recipes but instead get an error message. This is extremely annoying when I’m ready to prepare a meal but cannot access the recipe I am planning to make. The error message says to check the “cloud”. When I check the “cloud”, it shows plenty of storage and the recipe app being saved to the account. This is unacceptable and I am looking for a new recipe app. 😔 August 2026
I love this recipe app! We recently down sized and I went through a lot of my cookbooks and took pictures of the recipes and saved them to the site and donated the cookbooks. It is ideal to be at the grocery store and be able to pull up a recipe to see what ingredients I need to make it. I love that the app sinks with other devices so I can pull up the recipe on my iPad and prepare it. No more hunting through recipe books to find the recipe I want to prepare! It is also easy to add categories to fit my needs. I wanted a category for “Helpful Hints” and it is one of my favorites. 2020

Did not Transfer Properly to New iPhone!
I have tried all of their suggestions to get this app to work with a new iPhone. I’ve tried backups. I’ve tried restart and I keep getting the same error message saying that the document isn’t available. I’ve tried backing up the recipes as a PDF. That also does not seem to work and I cannot find where it might be backing them up to. So after many years are really loving this app I am at my wits’ end.
Then I sent an email and got no response so I guess it’s goodbye to many years of recipe saving.
Absolutely no idea what to do next.
