For a substitute teacher this app presents substitute jobs like Lucy presenting a football to Charlie Brown Brown. Time waster.
A companion app for the Apple Watch instead of the now only “Notification” could be a huge benefit.

Awful!
Keep selecting favorites and saying only notify on favorites. Keeps sending me notifications for EVERY ABSENCE IN ENTIRE DISTRICT. VERY ANNOYING!
Disappointed
I am unable to set my preferences, under Assignments to Favorites and make it stay. Every time the app closes, it goes back to default.
Also, by the time I get the alert, the sub request is unavailable… I’m opening up the app the moment it goes off… are the open assignments sent out all at once or does it go to folks at different times.
I’m new to this and find it very frustrating. I’d rather get text messages AND app notifications, but in order to get text I have to delete the app. Seems counterintuitive!

Substitute teacher
Wish Red River would let me choose specific grades & subjects for subbing. Also would be nice to pick up multiple days for same teacher. Red River lists individual days, while I select one, the other 3 are taken by different subs.

App does not work
This app does not work. It asks for an email and a password as if I’ve already signed up for an account. I haven’t. But I gave my email anyways to reset the password and it never sends the reset link
Pick up a job
It’s very difficult for a sub to get a job easy on the app because he gets picked up so fast because you have to be on your device 24 seven to get a job he cannot make it very hard on us to sub
Professional
Why do the para jobs get lumped in with the teacher jobs? That wastes so much of my time. I should be able to filter out all para jobs so I don’t see them.

Wish it was an option to be a let to see shifts regardless if I have excepted one or not

The app was fine until a few months ago. I rarely get notifications and the calendar integration never works any more
Difficult to get jobs
A job appears and when I go to get it, it’s gone. That is so frustrating.
Hard to enter site
It’s often hard to enter this site. I had to ask a staffer at TUSD to help me enter from my personal email.
No notifications
I can’t figure it out but my app does not give me push notifications despite them being turned on in the app and on my phones settings. I have tried reinstalling the app like 5 times. Nothing works.
Bug issue
App worked great until the last few months, I’m unable to write comments in my timesheet while using the app.

Pros and Cons
I like that you can cancel any job within 2 days notice. We cannot cancel the day before so that would be nice to change so the job is immediately put up again instead of the office scrambling to try to fill it. Jobs are easy to accept and bypass. Easy to eliminate schools. Wish we could classes. I don’t like that the alarm I have set to go off when a job is posted doesn’t always go off or goes off hours later. I often miss out on posted jobs because of this. I am notified not once but three times for the next days job for some reason. Doesn’t transfer to my iPhone calendar right away or on rare occasions at all. Then they disappear sometimes even though the job is still scheduled. I would like them to always be available no matter how long the time has been as I like to go back and see where I was. The app is way to use but not everyone works as it should.

Notifications do not work
Job notifications do not work, and “ float positions” need to show a grade range- I should receive a sound as I scheduled- it does not work. It is frustrating!

I seem to be getting notifications late. Almost every single notification that comes in is taken by the time I get the notification.
