Review of red rover
Once you hear the sound a school job is available, you have less than 5 seconds to react. My problem is the jobs can be posted at 3:00am . We would need cooperation from school systems to not post from 11pm to 5 am.
Doesn’t always tell the specific employee that needs a sub! Names are very helpful!
I am not getting notifications, I have been to my phone store and everything that should be on for notifications on my phone is on an I still have to go in and look for jobs every day.

Despite all the correct settings I don’t get text or email notifications nor do I get badges on the app notifying me when there are jobs available. This is worthless. Can’t get the jobs I need.
Schools start and end times need to be updated.
The schools times are incorrect. Ex Schs and scjs should have start times of 11:15 for half days & end 330. It should list if lunch will be included for half shifts. If a teacher has a free period, it should be listed.

Every time I get a notice pop-up from Red Rover the second I click on it. There is a message at the bottom of the screen that says “we are sorry this position is no longer available. So far it has proven to be useless for me.

App Needs Improvement
When you open the app, it doesn't go to the day that you are on, which is what it should do. You shouldn't have to go scrolling for the day you are in.
FAVORITE/PREFERRED SCHOOLS DONT SAVE
Awful being awaken for schools you haven’t selected. Every time you turn the phone off all saved preferred and favorites disappear. Doesn’t tell us what grade or subject or what type of boosters. Notifications are delayed by a lot or not sent as well.

Just a fantastic app for substitute teachers. We didn’t have anything like this back in 1972 and I was substituting in the San Francisco Bay area.

Alerts and Notifications Lacking!
App doesn’t alert or text .
Broken
Notifications do not work properly (and sometimes not at all). Support will only provide extremely general help that is no different than what is found in their help pages in most instances. They refuse to accept responsibility for the issues and put the blame on the user, even through their app issues are well known. Severely disappointed, as their technical issues are costing me from missing out on dozens of jobs, and they don’t seem to care at all.
Please do right by your users and fix these issues.

Sub I hit screen immediately and already gone
You need to put more information than “teacher”. what do they teach ? Is it a travel job?
Fine but cannot scroll through the calendar on my iPhone.
Takes a LONG TIME to put in an absence. I cannot scroll through the calendar, I have to click on the date closest to the bottom. Often freezes and becomes not responsive to touch.

My experience is I am getting notifications of new positions in one minute, I go to n log onto red rover, n in one more minute’s

Not all jobs tell the grade or subject that person teaches. I like to have that info before selecting a job.
