APP NEEDS A REAL APP DESIGNER

The fact that I land on RDH’s site when trying to give actual app feedback says it all. My issue is with the lack of mobile application functionality necessary in order to handle the MAIN source of communication by RDH, as there is NO DESKTOP WEBSITE to manage your data. Submissions are clunky to navigate, you constantly have to “guess” at what you should enter because it isn’t designed to be used in multiple ways, and good luck trying to filter, or find up to date information, because of the limitations. Prepare to re enter the same information over and over and and over again - for EVERY SUBMISSION.
The app is extremely antiquated and desperately needs real development dedicated to recreating a viable mobile application - not a team of folks set aside at the company.

Terrible App, Terrible Service

If you want to get put into a loop, get this insurance. It is so frustrating. I’ve stopped trying to contact them and I now just send in a bill after the fact and pray it’s covered. There are at least 3 phones calls for every issue and the app never works right. I couldn’t request an appointment because I couldn’t get past the main screen that needed a field filled out that I couldn’t complete because of a glitch. Hoping our company sees the light and can get us into a real insurance. This is embarrassing at the Doctor’s office, as well because they can never find it and they can’t reach them either.

It’s only week 1

When I was enrolled, the agent used my email addresses and my phone number for my 3 dependents. There is no mechanism on the app to update your information. It tried using the web version. I forgot my password and went through the forgot my password process. After multiple tries, I went back to the app and submitted a request for enrollment help. I missed a call so I called the number left in the voicemail. No one picks up the phone. I can see why members have given such poor reviews. The only positive reviews are from employers.

Absolute scam! Do not use this insurance!

I’ve paid for this insurance for years now, finally having to use it now, and it covers NOTHING. I am fighting thousands in bills now because I was told by Redirect my treatment would be covered- later on to be told by an automated system that there’s nothing they can do. If you’re thinking about using this company, DO NOT DO IT. It will completely ruin your financials. The entire process from referrals to the billing is a mess. Please don’t fall for this greedy, misleading insurance. Complete scam.

Really not that great

It’s clunky, doesn’t store information to make subsequent uses easier/faster…really needs to be junked and then start over.

App was great until it stopped working.

The app will no longer allow me to schedule appointments, see my id card, or access their 24/7 care. The app does not load pages accurately, and will not let you continue to the next page to complete your requests. Just call and do the wait time on the phone.

I love Redirect

As a small business downer, RDH has been an amazing alternative to traditional insurance. I rely on the virtual providers just like I would a primary care doctor. They are always helpful and have saved me a trip to the ER more than once. Amazing company and people too!

Impossible loop

There is nothing more frustrating to me than having a required question and no place to answer it. I can’t advance to the next screen because there’s no place to select my name. I also couldn’t download a copy of my card to send to my Doctor’s office. Instead, I had to call to have the agent email it to me. That should not be an issue in 2026. This app is full of dead ends and loops which drive me nuts.

Horrible.

Don’t get this insurance. It takes several days if not weeks to respond. Find your own doctors and schedule your own appointments at the facility of your choice because the staff is very incompetent.

When it works it’s fine

My main complaint is that for any update, it logs you out and does not save the password or username. I wish the app would retain the info because it’s quite a process to reset everything.

Excellent for my small business

I have been using redirect for years. It is a big differentiator when I am hiring because most small construction companies do not offer benefits. The service is great and easy to use. Highly recommended.

Bill/Receipt submittals for claims

I love how Redirect added the feature to submit PDF receipts for claims. They also have the app save my doctors in the tool for informing them of my doc appointments. It would be great to also have two more improvements. If they could 1)allow in the bill/receipt tool the option of rotating photos so the sides don’t get cut off. 2)in bill/receipt/claim tool to have doctor info saved so we don’t have to re-enter doc’s name, address, etc every submittal.

Portal doesn’t work

You can’t review your benefits. Im not sure how I’m supposed to “review” any of my coverages when the portal doesn’t work. The website is just as bad.

Not real healthcare

If this is the healthcare offered by your employer start looking for another job NOW. This is not a real healthcare company.

They are supposed to send you referrals for providers. They send those WHEN and IF they feel like it- no matter what they promise when you call

You will get charged for in-network $0 copays for the full amount. I am still fighting a $245 charge for a PCP visit that should have been $0 and that PCP wasn’t even a certified doctor.

Don’t risk your or your family’s health- RUN

Absolute nightmare

The app does its job I guess. The services provided by the “insurance company” are a complete joke. This is not like any insurance company I have ever dealt with. I cannot get an explanation of benefits to save my life. My financial aspects of my care and claims are completely out of control and I have no idea what doctors have been paid, what I owe and what is covered. A complete nightmare

Worst insurance

This Insurance is a complete joke.
You have to call them before going to a doctor. Worse than that when you call you talk to a non medical professional when will then schedule an appointment whit one of their "Health Providers" who most likely lives all the way across the country and you have to talk to them before they determine if you need to see an in person doctor.

I called in October because I've been having issues with my hip and am still waiting for an appointment in January.

I called last week because I've head a cold for 2 weeks they they only gave a a prescription for a nasal spray and a cough suppressant. I gave them the address of the pharmacy closest to my work so I could get it on my lunch break and they sent it to a completely different pharmacy all the way across town!

AFTER I HAD GIVEN THEM THE CORRECT ADDRESS!

So I then had to call them and have it sent somewhere else so I could get it that evening. upon arriving at the pharmacy They Informed me that I'm not covered by my insurance for that.

Fast forward a week and I'm STILL hacking up a lung every 5 minutes. I call at 8am say I'm still sick and they say they will have a "Health Provider" call me back at 1:30pm

Don't get this insurance if you think you may ever have a medical emergency. Also they have no "Health Providers" licensed in my state that works on weekends. So never have a medical need on the weekends.

No good

If I could give it - 0 stars I would. Can’t login not recognizing username and or password. Change password several times wasting my time.

Billing/Claims Department Doesn’t Return Calls (Over 1 Month)

The Redirect Healthcare Account Managers are all extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. However, the Billing/Claims Department is an absolute scam. There is no way to contact a human being; your only option is to leave a voicemail, but the problem is that no matter how many voicemails you leave, they won't call you back. I've been trying to contact them for OVER A MONTH and nobody has gotten back to me. The Account Managers have sent multiple emails to the Billing/Claims Department (because apparently Account Managers don't have any way of contacting the Billing/Claims Department internally, which is absolutely ridiculous). The fact that they don't have anybody to answer their inbound calls is a clear giveaway that this company deals with an extraordinary amount of complaints. It seems that the only way to get a response is to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which is what I'll do. They owe me close to $3,000 for services that they confirmed multiple times (in writing) that they do, in fact, cover. After looking at the other BBB complaints, it seems that filing there is the only way to get a response. No shade on the Account Managers, but the Billing/Claims Department is awful.

Finding a physician

Can’t search for a physician. App functions well though

Great insurance with personal touch

Very easy app to use. Insurance is very helpful with virtual appointments.
