Jobs

Perhaps it makes easier for jobs hunting instead.

Great website for applying jobs

App literally doesn’t work

Won’t let me even create an account. Just gives me error message every time I try to register. Deleted straight away. Waste of time - don’t bother.

Could be better

It’s not easy to search roles that match your criteria or save/update multiple CVs for different role types you may be interested in. The app features are quite limited; I wonder if the developers are ever posing as jobseekers themselves?

User-friendly app

This app provides really good job opportunities. It’s easy to use as well on the phone.

STILL not got instant bulk apply still has fake unpaid jobs

If I were to give this app zero āļø, I would.

•Still has unpaid slave jobs (OTE commission only).

•Still lists ā€œDevil Corpā€ scams (Google it).

•Still lists work from home scams.

•Still can’t hide/show jobs that require a Driving licence.

•Cannot hide ā€œapply on Websiteā€ listings.

Applying for posts is still laborious, as after tapping ā€œApply[with CV]ā€, at another screen which then have to go backwards again to get back to the job stack.

This slows down job applications.

The screen should just have tap or swipe to apply and the position should disappear from the screen like swiping on Tinder.

It needs to return to the tinder style swipe to apply/reject, where it remembers the rejects and doesn’t show them again in the future, this means eventually the app only shows jobs the user is suited to.

Probably the best jobs app, but still room for improvement

This is probably the best jobs app in the market, but let’s face it, the competition isn’t particularly good. They all suffer from the same problem including Reed - but to a lesser extent. The algorithm underlying job searches needs to be looked at. I set my parameters for the job search and it seems to return jobs that are 80% compliant. But, it also returns jobs outside my location preference, outside my salary range and in many cases jobs that are totally unrelated to what I’ve requested. This is a waste of my time, very annoying and frustrating. If Reed could address this problem it would make it the best recruitment app in the industry. I can’t really see why it’s that difficult so Reed, the challenge has been set.

Irrelevant spam

Any search I do is full of completely irrelevant results because they won’t stop employers spamming all filters. I will not be using this platform again.

app broken

when i apply for work the show all you've applied for comes up with "something wrong " but the open and closed applications work fine think you need to update or sort it out

Once Upon a Time

Friendly

Smooth Experience

Great App

Search options need improvement

I search for project manager and results returns mostly unrelated roles. Another example is when i filter by date (with in the last 24hrs) the results ignore the criteria and returns everything to date. The search criteria needs to be fixed. Otherwise searching for roles becomes very difficult.

Unusable

Hiding jobs and recruiters doesn’t work so one recruiter is able to spam your entire feed with a job that doesn’t even closely meet your requirements.

Sign in issues

Find it bizarre that the app has to link to the website rather than a standalone sign in. I can’t sign in perfectly fine on the main website, the app however just loads continuously making it useless.

Recommended

Love the app x have tried to put in recommendations & preferences but I’m still struggling x I’ve found some jobs & applied x ā™„ļø

•Still can’t hide Training scheme scams where you pay for a training scheme to get a job (not guaranteed).

applied jobs wont load

app is broken after applying for jobs the all button is broken says " something wrong try again later " but open and closed jobs work so frustrating

Applications missing

For over a week now, the tile ā€˜applications’ on the dashboard tab, does not load. ā€œSomething went wrong, please try againā€

With that not working it is impossible to track application progress without having to open a web browser and login in there.

I’ve deleted the app & reinstalled and get same issue. Ditto on my iPad. But online version has my data.

Tried to ā€˜submit feedback’ on the iPad app and that failed to transmit.. just had an hourglass for 15 minutes.

Applying for posts is still laborious four step process:

1. Favourite a stack of jobs
(Goes into a separate stack)

2. Select each favourite in turn

3. Apply on every post in turn

4. Click OK to return to the favourites stack

It needs to return to the tinder style swipe to apply/reject, where it remembers the rejects and doesn’t show them again in the future, this means eventually the app only shows jobs the user is suited to.

It should also have a filter for jobs that have to be applied on an external site and not via the reed app.

Excellent App

Using it has been phenomenal and I have been able to look for jobs that are to my liking.
