I arrived to work a flex, ON TIME, only to discover that the parking lot was closed for game day, no problem, I’ll find another parking lot. I drove to the alternate lot listed and that one was also closed, wanting you to pay $40-$60 dollars to park, absolutely not! Especially since that won’t be reimbursed. I made sure to attempt to contact the store three times, with no answer, and also sent two text messages to reflex to explain the situation. The rep that responded stated that my time could be adjusted. Okay cool, but I still didn’t know where to park. So now it’s 40 minutes past the start of my Flex Time, to no fault of my own, and I’m communicating actively with the rep from the app. They then tell me that cancelling my flex will negatively impact my score on the app, because it will be an urgent cancellation. HOW, when I arrived on time, and couldn’t find parking, with no assistance from the store! I then asked again if there can be an exception, since this was not my fault, and I was told no! So even though this was not a true late arrival, I’m being penalized for it anyway, and a 24 hour hold will be placed on my account where I won’t be able to claim new flexes, which is ridiculous and needs to be corrected by the company that owns this app. Flexers should not be penalized when situations arise, related to the flex, that are out of their control. This has put such a bad taste in my mouth about this app. Beware, they will blame you for situations that are THEIR fault, not yours.

it’s a good app but super glitchy
This is the best thing for someone obsessed with retail in between jobs
I used this app a couple years ago without issue. I tried to use it again recently and I can’t get a response from support. My profile was deleted and I’m unable to access it. Very frustrating. Is the app shutdown? Is that why support is no longer available and won’t respond?
I had no issues with the app, and I love how everything in the interface was easy once I was accepted. They definitely had a wait, but they are very strict with their attendance policy. I overslept, and because of that, I was terminated, which I understand, but I feel like they should be a bit more flexible, maybe having like a probationary period instead of flat-out terminating people if the no-call, no-show was as a result of an accident. But it’s an amazing app nonetheless.

To be honest, some flexes are more easier than others, but it’s so nice to make money for a few hours rather than doom scrolling all day. I love the fact that you work when you want and that you’re not obligated to.
I had used this app many times and enjoyed the ability to genuinely pick up a shift as I wanted and worked. It’s been some time since I worked there due to personal reasons, but I’m unable to get past the 40% mark Matching Preferences in signing into the app. I’m met with a “unable to save preferences. Please try again” and there’s nowhere else to go from there.

They took ALL of my information them rejected my application before I was able to pick up shifts shaking my head!!! And I was on my way to a shift just cancelled
Would like more store options and more variety of work to be offered other than folding!
Well I can’t get past the preference survey after logging on keep getting error “Failed to save preferences. Please try again” and tried several times so if you can let me know how to get past this error message then I will update my review but right now that is all I can review :(
I waited over half a year and they still haven’t approved my account. I talk to customer service and they kept saying the same thing over and over again. Telling to keep an eye on my phone to see any updates. It’s been over half a year.
Lies about what hours you worked beware of scam
You must have an iPhone for notifications they don’t currently work if you use the current version on android also it seems like there isn’t much shift opportunity outside of the holiday season. The 3 shifts I have been able to work were a good experience. No issues with the payment process usually its the next day so that’s nice!

Just started using this app in the beginning of the month. I see they have positions but the problem is they’re always super far away. I live in North East NJ & I’m getting alerts for Connecticut, Staten Island, Long Island and beyond. And when I do get an alert for a job near by the min I click the notification it’s not there anymore. And I mean I can get the alert click it immediately, gone. A little frustrating.

A year and a half ago when I first joined the app, shifts were typically $18 / hr in New York City. Now they're typically 17.50 or $17 an hour which is just minimum wage. The rates are no longer competitive, nor are they worth the commute time it often takes to get there. They also limit you to less than 40 hours a week because they're too cheap to pay you for overtime. They'd rather shifts not get picked up by anyone than pay people a livable hourly wage for the physically demanding jobs you are expected to do especially inventory, shipment, and other stock shifts. The app is gradually declining in quality for workers and the stores face no consequences whatsoever when managers are racist towards you and unprofessional in other ways. They can't even reach the stores half the time which is incredibly unsafe in case any situation arises that may require them to get in contact with the stores to intervene. They barely offer any of the bonuses they did when I first joined the app. They used to give more holliday bonuses & bonuses for milestone shifts (25, 50, 100, etc) but they took them away. They will give no bonuses when you are doing well and showing up to your shifts on time but will award bonuses to people who are late. Nothing about their app or algorithm makes sense. A store will add you to their favorites list and the app still won't send your phone a notification that shifts have been posted. You have to check the app manually for most shifts because it won't send you the notification even when shifts are appearing on your app. Everything that was good about the platform is now gone and they don't care about employee feedback. Nothing you report ever elicits any action or change from them. You're better off using any other gig app besides this one. #SurvivingReflex

Absolutely fabulous app! Easy and simple to navigate.
The shifts that are posted are gone as soon as you get the notification about them. Also, posting on average less than one shift per day, doesn’t make sense.
after waiting months, and finally I picked up a shift quickly cause the offers disappear in seconds, they canceled the offer and minutes later they proceeded to reject my application. Honestly this app is a waste of time and they are basicly exploiting the workers.
I’m so grateful to be a flexer for Reflex!
Top notch crew and employees. Great layout and clothing to wear and sell. Really nice
