App stripped back
Completely agree with others. This suite of apps used to be my go to. Andrew’s meditations are the absolute best - but the app has been stripped of so much functionality that’s it’s just a shell of its former self. I also miss the soundtracks.
Disappointed, I paid over $150 dollars to purchase now not available
I’m devastated, I paid over $150 to purchase the original Relax+ app with every additional hypnosis program.. now it’s unavailable to download on my new phone.. and this “meditation” replacement and the others are NOT as good. Not the same as being able to select 3 seperate programs during the one session, not able to select music options and not able to control the music to voice ratio… why remove the original versions, create new ones by all means, but removing apps that people have paid decent money for is very disappointing. I feel ripped off!!! I’d finally found something that worked and paid for and now unavailable - PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE AND GIVE ME ACCESS TO WHAT I ORIGINALLY PAID FOR

Relax+
I’ve been using the Relax+ app for many years and it has been my all-time favorite. In fact, I used it just in the last week. But when I opened it yesterday it kept crashing. I was going to delete and reinstall as that will sometimes fix glitches. To my absolute dismay, after I deleted it, it has totally disappeared and cannot be found anywhere. This was the absolute best relaxation/I have ever found. I cannot believe that it is now gone.

Old app was way better
I’ve been using the old app since probably 2015 and it is the ONLY meditation app I like. I purchased everything in the app. I was incredibly disappointed when this replaced it. I cannot get the old version back and these meditations do not feel the same. They even changed the intro working to the therapy. I’m not sure why they would change something so beloved. I really want them to bring the old format back. I liked being able to combine two goals into one session and I liked that the sessions could go longer without just repeating. Andrew’s voice is so soothing and relaxing but the new apps just aren’t worth it.

I bought the previous Relax app and paid to unlock all of the meditations. Then the app was no longer in the App Store and I couldn’t use it anymore on my phone. The only way to get the apps I already paid for is to pay for them each individually again. Not cool!!
Superb relaxation
Having been diagnosed with heart failure I have been advised to practice periods of relaxation during the day. Andrew Johnson has been the provider I found to be the best for me. This unit never fails for me and I often find myself dozing during it!

Not an update to Relax+ I am devastated
Relax+ has been a staple app for me for years. I went through seasons and when things got tough it was so incredibly helpful. I have purchased nearly all the auxiliary apps, so that I could do an infinite number of combinations.
After not needing it for a while. I have started medication for ADHD and am struggling with insomnia. I tried a new medication tonight and it didn’t work but because of what it is I can’t take anything else.
I went to my Relax+ app to try and sleep but to my absolute horror, it is gone and replaced with whatever the heck this is.
For those new to Andrew Johnson the old Relax+ app had the ability to customize a meditation. You set the length, intro, outro, music, music volume, and then the actual content. If it was 45 min or more you could set two. It was amazing.
Years ago I went through a stressful period at work and I set it to infinite loop, and just turned it on every time I was alone.
Honestly I would pay a monthly subscription for the old app. This is a huge loss.

Used to be incredible
This man was the reason I was able to sleep for probably the better part of my teen/adult years. The app used to be extremely customizable with different volume and music options, way longer audio with custom segments, and all different options available through in app purchases. I must have spent over 20$ over the years buying extra content. I come back, very excited to see it updated to work on my phone again, only to see it totally different and the only option being 10 minutes of audio? Really upsetting considering I spent so much money on it and used it for so long. I know subscriptions are the new normal and he has a sub based app he probably wants to focus on, but it would’ve been nice to have been able to keep what I had and maybe then I would’ve been persuaded to buy a subscription for more content. Now I think I’ll look elsewhere. Absolutely not worth 4$ on its own, not with so many better options out there for free. Sorry Andrew, but this is a major bummer.

Changed the app with no warning
I’d been using this app since I was 16, so over ten years. I’m neurodivergent and found this app incredibly soothing, especially because I could rely on it being the same comforting programme that I’d been using to help relax / go to sleep for years. Recently they changed it completely and removed the old recordings, with no prior warning, meaning my beloved old reliable relax app is gone forever and I can’t get it back. The content I paid for years ago is now apparently behind some sort of subscription paywall. This was really upsetting and distressing to me as someone who relied on this app (and the comforting familiarity of having the sake audio for years) and as a result I’ve stopped using all Andrew Johnson apps. I did try to email in but didn’t get a very helpful response. I realise most people won’t care / it doesn’t seem like a huge issue, but for neurodivergent users that rely on repetition and routine, this can be distressing.
If you wanted to update it and include updated audio, you should have kept an option in the settings to listen to the “old” audio for people who’ve been using this for years :(

I had already bought the app
I have been a frequent flyer of his apps. I have bought about 5. I used them a lot because they worked. When I updated my phone none of the apps showed up. When I went to go re download them it wanted me to pay!! So I’m all set with that garbage.
What happened to my paid purchases on the old app?
I haven't updated in awhile but I had many paid purchases in the old Relax+. Different therapies, etc. None of that is here in the new one, very disappointing. I don't want to pay for a bunch of separate apps when I paid before in Relax+. Shame because AJ is fantastic.

Amazing app to help you relax
Andrew has such a soothing voice and calming way to help lull you to sleep or if you just need some moments of relaxation. I have been listening to Andrew's audios for many years and this app is my go-to for to help me sleep. Thank you so much for this app:)
This app has kept me calm so many times
This app calms me when I am stressed. It has helped to reduce my heart rate and anxiety numerous times. It has helped me fall asleep when my thoughts are keeping me awake. I’ve even used it with headphones during dental surgery. Thank you!

Always coming back to Andrew Johnson
So a few years ago I bought all the apps with an old phone. Then I got a new one with a new job and I didn’t meditate for a long time. Now I’m trying to relax and heal physically. Andrew Johnson apps have always been there to help me achieve my best self. I like how the sound quality now is so much better. Thank you to Andrew Johnson and the developers for making such a wonderful app. 😌🌈😘❤️
