Efficiency at hybrid work

Lovely to see Vecos taking their locker App to the next level. Self-service, opening and letting it go of your locker in your fingertips. Well done folks. Great efficiency at hybrid work!

Poor UX Decisions

It’s unclear why this app requires a 5-digit PIN, as it goes against common UX standards and creates unnecessary friction. Most apps follow familiar patterns like 4 or 6-digit PINs, or offer biometric options such as Face ID.

For a simple locker-style app, this level of complexity feels excessive and impacts the overall user experience. A more human-centred design approach would make the app much easier and more intuitive to use.

Non-functional

Won’t open the camera properly to scan a QR code to start the setup. No way to setup without the QR code.

Always disconnected

I have a locker at my office but I also work remotely. Every time I need to open my locker remotely for a colleague to access it, the registration drops out.
I’ve reregistered multiple times but it always drops out.
There is absolutely no point to this app if it can’t be used open my locker.

App always forgets my registration

Disappointing that every time I need to use the app I have to register it again. The only way to do it by scanning the QR code.
On occasion, I need to open my locker remotely for a colleague but I can’t because it’s forgotten my registration.

What’s the point of the app when I can just scan my pass instead?

Works ok

We need watch app and ios widgets too. Every time entering password for unlock isn't convenient for constant locker access.

Iwatch app please

I would love an iwatch app

Even better would be if it auto suggested to open locker when I was near my locker and i could just hit yes or ok

Thx

I use it every day!

Not because I want to but because I have to as this is what we use for Lockers at work. On the plus side it loads quickly and does what it needs to quickly and efficiently. My only major gripe is that there is no Apple Watch version. There have been a number of times when I got to my locker and realised I had left my phone on my desk! Having Vecos on my wrist would have been awesome!

Needs to send app notifications

Needs to send app notifications instead of just email notifications for end of day. No point being a locker app at a work site if you go out after work for diner and come back too late to find your locker locked. And that the notification went to your work email address. Pointless if your work laptop is inside the locker. Make it push reminder notifications to your phone too!!!

buggy

For such a simple app this is pretty buggy, get timeouts a lot or can’t connect

Like it mostly

Two improvements that could be made:
- Have the release button included in the top left menu, where it is on the main screen it’s too early to accidentally press.
- Be able to link the same locker on more than one device.

Handy app

Would be good if you could register more than one device though i.e. work phone & personal phone.
