Very unreliable
The app worked great for months then stopped updating info on children’s school activities. Attempts to remove and re-add a child or change the app password are often inconsistent or unsuccessful.

I had a great experience with Remini as the Director of a preschool in San Francisco. Our parents and teachers found it easier and WAY less expensive to use than BrightWheel. The app is customizable and the owner even came to my school to check in and see how it was working out for us. There’s 24/7 customers assistance. Sometimes it had glitches and mistakes but this was understandable because they were a start up. Every inaccuracy was fixed immediately. I would definitely recommend and use this app again at my next school.

Disappointing and Frustrating Experience
It's truly a shame because the core idea of this app the ability to see pictures and get updates from teachers is genuinely wonderful and incredibly valuable. It’s the one redeeming factor that keeps me using it but honestly the technical performance makes it an absolute chore.
This app is in desperate need of a major update and serious maintenance. It freezes constantly glitches out when I'm trying to view updates and worst of all it frequently loses photos that have been uploaded! It's incredibly frustrating to open the app for a quick check only to be met with constant technical errors and an unstable interface.
I understand that development takes time, but the current state of the app is unacceptable. It turns what should be a pleasant connection to my child's day into a technical headache every single time. Please, developers prioritize stability and performance the current experience is deeply disappointing.

Worst ever
A woefully buggy inefficient and honestly worse-than-nothing way of getting updated on nursery school activities. Repeating text repeatedly over and over for no reason??! Who is maintaining this mess? No one apparently. Please delete and find some developers who care about their product, this one is an abandoned child.

Needs a major UX overhaul
This app is not user friendly. None of the parents in our preschool can figure out how to use it. Messaging people is confusing. It’s not clear in the app what is text, what is a button and what each button does. The menu on the left duplicates some, but not all, the nav. Aside from confusing navigation and functionality, the overall design is very 1995 and needs a holistic update, centred around user flows, with a clear hierarchy of actions. Take a page from Brightwheel’s book.

Blah at best
The 2000s called and want their web app back. In today’s day, you’d expect an app to be polished. But this one is super clunky. If you check in more than one kid, there is a delay, extra dialogs, multiple signatures, just hurdles. The messaging is ok. The interface is not polished. Honestly, a tech intern could have written a better app.

Mediocre at best
Super clunky app. The message feature is really confusing, you can’t tell who you’re sending it to. There are multiple ways for the teachers to put their daily updates in so it makes it hard to figure out where the notes for the day are. There’s no notification to confirm you completed the check in. You can’t check 2 kids in at once. there are two ways to do various things which makes it confusing. Why do you need a section for the kid and a section for the classroom? When you use the back button, it never takes you to where you were and you have to start the clicking process all over. If you want to view any of the photos posted, you cannot scroll so you have to click and go back repeatedly. Generally very frustrating to use and feels like an app from 20 years ago. A serious update is needed.

Just a web app
The app is a web app wrapped in a shell and it shows. No native controls at all, other than input controls thanks to a web view. It’s not even scaled right for larger devices, ignoring safe areas and having bars on the borders. Really disappointing. In the app itself, there is no ability to manage data well, like deleting avatars or removing certain fields like birthday.

Clumsy and Unprofessional
This app was implemented in my school months ago. As an early childhood teacher, our apps are a touchstone between us and parents and everything else. I’ve never had to use such a clumsy, unintuitive, glitchy, and unprofessional app in my career. Our school is getting rid of it now. Not worth your or your staff’s time, unfortunately.

UI is clunky
Nothing is intuitive and the UX needs major improvements.
Good for a couple of things, frustrating for others.
As a daycare teacher, it’s nice for meeting track of diapers, bottles, food, etc.
Messages to parents seem harder than necessary to create and send. “Stories” for newsletters is awful- almost every time I add someone, something else gays b deleted or messed up. Something I could do in MS Word or on a Google doc in 20 minutes takes me hours in this app!!

We love Remini
We have been using Remini for a few years now and love the responsiveness of the company. Whenever we have a question they get back to us quickly. I love the personal attention. I also appreciate the ease of the software from the setup perspective. Additionally, Remini listens to our requests and we have seen several come through in their updates. Can't recommend enough!

App freezes all the time
Freezes all the time. I have to delete and reinstall at least 1-2 times per week.
Remini is Amazing!
Remini has helped our program bring communication to a really good level - it's all in one place for families, there is no more wondering because we can message them and share needs and important photos and videos with families all in the same place. We're so glad to be using it.
Somehow it always gets worse.
The developers of child care apps must congregate annually and plot ways to make their incredibly unfriendly and clunky apps.

The most unintuitive UI ever
I think this app is could be a case study for “UI designed by engineer” issues. 3 different messaging screens for the same purpose, sign in sheets that are buried deep inside the app, slow server responses, and many more. I wouldn’t use it, but I have to because my kids’ daycare requires it.

We have used Remini for several years now. We are extremely satisfied with the app’s features and the support team is always available, responsive and helpful.
