Push Notifications

It has been at least 6 months since I have had this issue. I receive push notifications, but there is no sound with them. My ringer is on, notifications are on, I have tried restarting my device, disconnecting from the panel, and deleting and redownloading, but still receive no sound. I know multiple people with this issue and they all have Apple devices. Android users seem to not be affected

Response from developer

Hello Allen, Sorry that we did not get back sooner. The sound for Push Notifications on iOS were updated in the last week. It was the backend infrastructure that needed some changed, which is hosted by a third party. We are working to move this into our control in the next few months and will have more improvements then. Watch for those updates when they come out.

Getting ZERO Notifications

App was better before. Had an issue on old iPhone 11 Pro Max where it wouldn’t log in after new app. Was about to purchase a new phone and after it didn’t do it any more. Does sound like that was fixed but now I am getting ZERO notifications. Everything on app and settings on phone shows it is set up to receive notifications but nothing. New iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Response from developer

Hello Chris, Notifications should be working fine, also Sound on iOS Notifications was recently updated in the cloud in the last week. If there are no Notifications, please select the Panel that you want them from, select the Notification Filters and toggle them Off, if they show On, save them, and then go back and toggle them On and save. If they are On, it should be that the account is not clear and if the device has been changed, the Notifications are linked to the Device ID, not the login. This is how the current Push system works.

About to give up on Bosch

This app and backend is ridiculous. Bosch has great panels but has failed miserably at a cloud platform to manage them. I no longer receive push notifications as of a week ago. This is random and goes for both me and my coworkers.

Response from developer

Hello TJP240, Please let us know if they are not working. Note that it is linked to the Device, not the login. Be sure to check the Notification Filters for the Panel on that Device. Is they show On, toggle them Off, save, and then back On and save. They should work fine. Also note that Sound Notifications are now working as of a week or so ago. The third-party service that provides that was updated.

This app is nothing but issues. Zero Stars.

Ever since I started using this app to access alarms it’s been one bloody headache after another. The features and connectivity are trash, and non of the problems ever seem to get fixed.

Response from developer

Hello AppUser1371, We would be interesting in talking with you about what the problems are. You can reach our support, or if you have an Installing Dealer, have them contact us to arrange a call to gather more information.

Zero Stars if possible

If I could give this app negative stars - I would.
I’ve tried deleting it
and reinstalling it NUMEROUS times.
Nothing works! This has been going on for more than two months. Why am I paying for a that doesn’t work?!

I tried contacting my alarm company… even they could not help me.

Can rarely connect to panel without hard reboot

I too would give a zero if possible. Traveling and for the umpteenth time can (log in), but (b) not connect to my panel remotely. Have tried all posted solutions and those by the vendor. THE only thing that works (if I am home) is a “hard” reboot if the panel. This involves unattaching a wire to the battery and one other wire, waiting 30 seconds, then reattaching. I’ve struggled with this (and the previous) version of this app for years.

Hello Pops Dr, This sounds like something that can be solved with the right information. If you working with an Installing Dealer, have them contact our support staff so we can gather more information. This is absolutely solvable.

Would rate 0 stars if I could

As a user of both Bosch Security Manager and Remote Security Manager I can say that the “update” has made things much worse. At first I was able to connect to my panel after waiting up to a minute (really?), but then was unable to revoke mobile user access. I was sold on the fact that I would be in control of who would have access to app. I would gladly go back to that issue as I am now unable to connect without seeing a “SDK Error”. This app is currently unusable and have decided to move to DMP.

Response from developer

Hello Kenny, We are sorry about that issue. We have been working through it for the last few weeks and have a solution that was released to the store today. The SDK Error has been solved.

MASSIVE Upgrade

Since the update with Radionix (Oct ‘25), the app is night and day better. It no longer takes several minutes to login, no more frequent crashes, you can actually use the app how it was intended. Great work team.

Response from developer

Hello diabeticanon, Thank you for the nice comments, we really appreciate it and glad you like it. It has been a lot of work, and we will be continuing to improve the app. There is more to come, stay tuned!

So much better now

So much better and quicker to log in after the radionic rebrand. Now if they could just match the connection speed of the alarm.com app I use for my house I’d give 5 stars

Response from developer

Hello drewthetechdude, Thank you for the positive feedback and response. We are working hard to make sure that this is meets the needs of the end user and is more responsive. There will be more to come, stay tuned.

Too long to log in. Never connects

If you can ever get past the 15 step process and the five minutes it takes to log into this app afterwards you’ll find that 90% of the time the app will not connect to your alarm and if it does connect it’ll crash right away. Totally worthless app. And it’s been a worthless app for years.

Response from developer

Hello IMCPS, If you would be open to talking, as the Product Manager, I would love to talk with you. You can reach me at stephen.kovacsiss@keenfinity-group.com. 2025-10-15 Update: If you are referring to while connecting to a panel, the problem has been solved without an update to the app. Please try to connect to your panel(s) again, they should work fine now.

Great but dated

The Login process is so very slow - are their plans to allow Face ID to get in to the app instead of the long process each time. So grateful for remote access and the blessing of this technology but seems so dated in the login capabilities and delays. Thanks for any help with making this process smoother!

Awful App

Login is very cumbersome and unreliable. I hold my breath every time just hoping it will connect. Updates to the login process just make it worse. Bosch should be embarrassed to offer this to the public.

Horrible

This alarm system is horrible. I can’t reliably sign in ever. Whatever your salesman said is a lie. This company is terrible.

Redirection and tech issues

Will not connect me
To alarm system. Constantly re-directed to websites that do not recognize login information. Tech support does nothing.

Unreliable and cumbersome

Doesn’t work half the time. Not an exaggeration. Cost me hundreds with the alarm company to get it to work again only to stop connecting in a month. Also very time consuming to even sign in. The worst.

Unreliable

Sorry the idea is strong but I have an issue with the unreliability of app. I go to log in and get a failure more than half the time.

Connection issues

Will not let me disarm our home security panel from app. Says connection failed.

One of the Worst

If I could give zero stars I would. Sorry long read coming. It’s like the app was written by a ten year old. First, it doesn’t use/support facial recognition. Even my bank app allows that. Instead you open the app and select logon. Then it tells you it needs to use Bosch.com to logon in. You then select okay. After a long and sometimes very long delay, it takes your alarm panel where you can put in your security code. This is the only place that you should have to enter anything for security reasons. Once entering your code, it can take up a minute to connect to your panel and then it’s hit or miss. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn’t. What should happen: you open the app, it uses facial recognition and takes you right to your alarm panel where you enter your alarm code. Just recently, the app stopped texting me alarm messages. I’ve worked with the local alarm company and Bosch, but all efforts have failed. So, if someone breaks into my house, I won’t even get a text informing me my alarm just activated.

BSM app

App now went connect to system. Constant shows connection failure

Too cumbersome to even login to

If using this to manage an alarm system, you have to press too many buttons to even get to the alarm and I use FaceID and a password manager app. It takes 12 button presses to get to the alarm, and it won’t even let you disarm it. 1st I unlock my smartphone with my PIN or Face ID, next I open the app, that should be all authentication needed to access the alarm but no, there’s several more steps. Now the BSM app has to authenticate my SingleKey account so I press the button to sign in to SingleKey which open a page where I enter my email address and password. I use a password manager so I only need to press one button to fill my email address, then I press Next button. Now I can enter my password for SingleKey with one press again by using my password manager, then I press the Continue button. Now I’m authenticated to the app, but I still haven’t authenticated to my actual alarm system. Next I have to choose my alarm panel and then enter my user code to authenticate to the actual alarm panel. Now I can control my alarm, arm and disarm…unless the system is having an alarm, then the Disarm commands DON’T WORK. I talked to Bosch about this and was told it is a security feature to prevent remote disarming. After all that authentication, I should be able to disarm the alarm system from the app. With the latest smart phone, using faceid and a password manager, I still have to press 12 buttons to access the alarm system, and I can’t even disarm it. This app needs to be trashed and started over, it’s not usable.
