Renogy 4G app
This app does not work and the company will not fix it. Please have them remove it from the App Store. Their DM1 product will not connect to it and it responds in Chinese. Probably a way for china to gather data through your phone chip.

I have this connected to a project that is in another city, so cell data was key over BT. Setup was easy, and the app hasn’t given me trouble yet. I would like to see the ability to have this linked to my original Renogy acct. It would be great to have a desktop dashboard to pull data from also, especially as we expand this project.

All around useless
My guess is that if you are not in China this app will not work for you. Also please do not waste time trying to talk to technical support as they seem to be clueless on how to assist anyone. The app would not let me create a login for myself, so I proceeded to call/email technical support. To which they blamed me not being able to create a log in on my SIM card not being active (I work in the world of IoT design so my sim is always active). They then proceeded to ask the same repetitive questions as I tried to simply explain I need to know how to make a log in for the app. Needless to say I never was able to make a log in, so I tossed the equipment in the garbage. Renogy just lost a long time customer (which I know is a drop in the bucket for them) but they may want to fix their apps including the Bluetooth apps and their support team. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS APP!

Terrible app
This thing won’t let you register account. Trouble code is in Chinese. It’s just not ready for release, Renogy in over 2 years you can’t get it together.

Can’t even use the app unless you can read Chinese to sign up. Delete from App Store please!
