Rent Redi has held my rental listing hostage!
Last year this time I created a rental listing through Zillow. The process was extremely easy and user friendly. After finding a tenant I discovered Zillow also offers tenant screening and lease preparation. I used everything Zillow offered with no problems.
I don't remember how I came to learn about RentRedi but it looked like a tool I could use for rent payment, repair request, ect. After a few months I decided the app wasn't for me. We had everything set in place the app was offering without incident.
Fast forward to this year. Our current tenant is ready to move out. I hop on Zillow to re-list and I get an error message the I have to re-list through RentRedi. I don't even have a current account with them. I never listed with them to begin with. I never used one feature on the app.
VERY long story short! The only way I was able to re-list through Zillow was to resubscribe to RentRedi. Why do they own rights to my listing?
I also decided to give the site a try since I had to pay for it anyway. It's so hard to navigate. So many "features" but they don't even offer lease templates or generators.
After a phone call and a few emails I still don't have an answer how to cancel my subscription and delete my data from their site. I don't want to use this program why can they dictate how I list my rental property? Seems wrong

Automates many of the tasks making my life easier
This app has many helpful features such as built in screening for rental applicants. Once you get everything plugged in for your initial application, you can easily send that out to any applicant and have istant background and credit checks. It also allows the tennant to do automatic withdraws which gives me peace of mind. Also, the customer service extremely responsive. They've gotten back to me very quick each time I reach out. Even on holidays, which I didn't expect.

Easy to Use!
This really is easy to use. I was able to invite the property manager so they have their own login. Linking my bank account was easy. And my renters did their application, background check, criminal check, income check, all of that on the site and it was great. It Helped us make the right decision for the renters and they pay it online through rent ready it’s fantastic. I also feel that the value you get is well worth the annual fee. And they make sure that the renters rent is going to clear the bank before they send the money to you which I especially love because then I don’t have to deal with that at the bank level. Very glad to have found this platform.

Easy Tenant Management, Great Customer Service
As a new landlord, this app has been a huge help in managing my unit, organizing my paperwork, sending tenant notifications, and listing the unit. I ran into an issue and the customer support was very responsive, resolving my issue quickly without issue. Regarding bank transfer, it does take anywhere from 5-7 business days it seems like, so if you’re relying on tenant income to pay your mortgage on the first of the month, payment collection through this service may not be for you. For me, I like the ability to have automatic late fees and an automated tenant platform, which takes the emotion out of a business decision. Decent owner app. I find the online desktop website to be a bit easier to navigate as sometimes, hitting links in the app causes the app to crash.

Incredibly helpful tool
I'm a newer landlord and RentRedi has been fantastic so far. It's particularly helpful with one tenant who has the unfortunate habit of paying in installments over the course of the month – I'm putting an end to that but RentRedi has been great to help keep track of that. Otherwise, it would have been even more of a headache. My tenants seem to really like it too, even one of my older, less tech-savvy tenants. I love that it has a place for tenants to submit NON-emergency requests so I don't get late night phone calls for things that can wait. And finally... their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Incredibly responsive and helpful every time I've had a question.

Easy Management and Great Customer Service
This app has helped me easily manage all of my properties. From listing each unit, collecting applications, background checks to collecting rent each month! It does require a learning curve but the demo mode and tutorials are well organized and easily searchable.
When an issue has come up, their customer service was top notch. They respond in the chat no matter the hour of day. They also follow up and confirm the issue was resolved by email the next day. I really appreciate the care in getting me the help I needed.

Great platform for landlords!
I have been using RentRedi for about 2 years now across about 20 rental units and have been very pleased. The app makes it a breeze for tenants to pay rent electronically and for me to keep up on things from the convenience of my phone. Customer service has been great any time I ever had a question or wasn’t sure how to properly use a feature. I would absolutely recommend this platform to other landlords.

I am a first time land lord and I did not want to just use Venmo, cashapp or have a check. This app was very easy to use, and the customer service is 5 stars! Even after hours I had someone available in 5 minutes. My favorite part is the online payment that makes it easy for the tenants and the ability to have it set automatically. I also like the fact that late fees are automatic as well so I don’t have to personally remind the tenant.
I also love the fact that you can upload the lease on the app and have it there as well!

Great system for landlords
I am a landlord of about 30 units. RentRedi is a great system for landlords looking to get organized before this I didn’t use any system. It is very user friendly and I see how rentredi continues to keep trying to improve. I do wish funds from RentRedi would clear faster. I also would wish they would have an option of a page that would show all funds pending deposit.

Amazing for small owners
I currently work as a VP for a large management company. I’ve been in the industry for 20 years and have used multiple softwares.
I found RentRedi when looking for a cost effective software for a small owner with only 21 units. This software has a learning curve but it takes no time to set it up. It’s extremely cost effective and removed the need for physical office on site saving the owner money by allowing me to manage remotely for them.

Excellent customer service
I’ve been using RentRedi for two years now. It is easy and convenient for tenants to use and set up auto payments, share documents, leases, etc and submit maintenance requests. The customer service team is outstanding. They are always quick to respond to any questions we have as landlords or things tenants need help with. I recommend this app to all my landlord friends.

Great for Long Distance Management!
As a long distance investor and property manager, I found RentRedi user friendly and fairly intuitive. I primarily use it to track rent and payment activity, and really like the automated email and push notifications that remind my tenants when payment is due.
I would like to see faster payment processing, but expect the folks at RentRedi are working to improve that experience.

This app has a lot of really great features and is pretty user friendly. It’s clean and easy to look at. It has a lot of functions.
There’s quite a bit I haven’t figured out just yet but they do have really great reps to help. Every interaction with them has been very pleasant and helpful.
I would love a tenant demo mode so the landlord could see what it looks like for the tenant in order to guide them.
It would also be helpful to have an application link to copy and paste into a message to interested applicants, rather than sending everybody an email invite.

Super and Fast Customer service and Response
I started using RentRedi to collect my rent for my townhomes. Process is simple and easy to set up and Tenants, rent rules, and communicate with tenants. This app matches all requirements that landlords need. I was spending a lot of time on reconciling the rent payments and communicating with tenants, now I see all the information on the dashboard and it’s easy to export to excel to view the data.
Improvement Suggestions. I wish they had an option to pay bills related to house expenses like HoA, Mortgage etc. This product is good for Account Receivable but needs work on Accounts Payable.

RentRedi is Like having an experienced partner on your side
As a first time landlord, I reviewed several management apps/systems prior to going forward with RentRedi. Ultimately, RentRedi filled all the gaps I was looking to aid in my business. I’ll be honest and say it may not be everyone’s perfect solution but it is as close as it gets for me.
From the tutorials, to responsive customer service, the system is a good balance of available features while being simple enough to figure out. I’ve grown my rental portfolio with this system, and my tenants have all excitedly adopted the app, pay through it, request maintenance. The organization this system provides during the unit listing/tenant search, application, and vetting process is, again, perfect for what I need.

Big or small landlords this app is for you!
RentRedi is a super helpful and effective way to help manage your properties and at a great price! Our company was going through a transition and needed a quick option to get residents back into a portal system. Initially joined RentRedi for the interim while browsing other softwares. For the apps and services offered at their basic price, I couldn’t get myself to sign up with another company. Hands down, their customer service/support staff is the most helpful I’ve ever experienced! Riz-I get connected too the most often and he is so helpful I could write a whole review about him! Yes, other softwares might have more bells and whistles but those prices are outrageous! Highly suggest RentRedi to anyone who may be looking for similar needs!

Great service - very accurate
I’ve been with RentRedi Gia year now, the work is seamless. At the beginning I contacted them many times just to show me how to do certain things. They are very fast in replying and I love how they have a database for replies to the majority of the questions. So when I send them a question I get a reply with all the step I need to do. That is pretty amazing. Other than that, they do background check, help with maintainence, deduct the rent automatically from the tenants accounts and send to within few days. Over all: Highly Recommended.

Convenient App
I am new to real estate investing and I wanted to find a software solution that would be easy, professional, and intuitive in helping me manage my property. I heard about RentRedi on The Bigger Pockets podcast so I decided to give it a shot. I have been pleased so far with how much time and effort this app has saved me and my tenants. The only point of growth I can see is the UI/UX could be a little better. The apps functionality though is wonderful so if you do not mind the UI/UX then this app is a solid choice for managing payments and properties!

Needs work, Payment processing is an afterthought
Beware that there is very poor support for payment processing. You will get told to contact the 3rd party processor for issues and then get pointed back at Rentredi. We had a tenant claim fraud on lawfully collected rent and this system allowed for an attempt to take that money back over 6 months after the collection date. If not for my vigilant monitoring, my account would have been drained of more than $6000. When contacted, Rentredi just threw their hands up in the air saying they have nothing they can do. My only way to mitigate this was to put a stop payment on the processor and then go through their hoops to finally get to their resolutions team. Take ownership of your business processes and technical solutions Rentredi, as being a landlord is my side work and a technologist is my primary, I cannot find myself ever recommending this. It was more or less convenient, I’ll just invest my time and build my own replacement in a week.

They’re still working out the bugs, BUT…
This system is handy in most cases, but they still need to fix some glitches. They sometimes don’t send the emails with the information needed to know when a deposit is being processed or who it’s from.
Things I like are that it only costs the tenants $1 per transaction.
Things I LOVE are that it doesn’t cost me anything to use, aside from the yearly enrollment fee. Another thing that I absolutely love is the customer service staff. They are INSANE and will practically stalk me until the issue gets resolved! That may sound weird, but when something is wrong and I’m busy doing lots of things, they make sure that it gets fixed by repeatedly checking in with me until I answer. I LOVE THAT!
