Great with a few niggles
The best full featured pixel editor for mobile that’s allowed me to be productive and create assets literally anywhere. It’s got a fantastic amount of functionality.
It’s not without some niggles though. Some functions/options seemingly have no explanation and finding help isnt intuitive. And the amount of times i’ve accidentally tapped and hidden all my layers only to have to spend 5 minutes enabling them one by one again in complex artworks back to how it was, has been enough to make me cry. I also don’t like the fact it shoved a massive splash screen in my face asking me to share on social media over and over again at random … i paid money for the app, this isn’t ok.
So it could do with some tightening up for smaller screens, and an absolute UNDO.
I also would love to know what option makes layer FX sometimes be totally ignored when adding them to a group —or sometimes not. I would recommend it though.

Been using it for 3 years straight
Genuinely the best art software you can find on mobile been able to gradually improve my art with it overtime highly recommended
Amazing!
I’ve just started using it, and I don’t write reviews often, but this app is incredible. It’s easy to animate on, and great if you’re looking for something similar to asprite but on iPad. It’s got folders which is an amazing help for me as I’m creating game assets, its tools and layout are easy to use, and customisable. And this is all before buying the premium version. It can export into so many types of files as well which is so freeing. I’d recommend this 1000% if you want to make pixel art on mobile/ipad.

Bad app! It’s lies!
The app say say resprite but I got no sprite and it diddnt refill the sprite can!
Very good so far!
I’ve only done 3 drawings, but so far the app has been easy to use and effective. The only thing I would like to see is a shading tool.
Many issues despite best in market
Backup is wildly inconsistent, data loss is imminent the moment the app enters the background. No recycle bin or recently deleted temp folder; if you accidentally select something you don’t want to delete there is no good way to catch that due to UI design.
The app’s design and functionality compels me to treat it like it’s “broken” and to assume all of my projects could be randomly deleted at any moment, due to the app’s instability and poor backup system.
Also, tiled mode was broken in the last update. It does not work anymore. That’s integral for pixel art.
Despite all of these issues, there is no better alternative for iOS or iPadOS, thus giving my 2nd star.

Good, But Just One Thing…
It’s a great app! I love making pixel art on it. But, sometimes when I close the app it deletes my files / sprites and I have to start from Scratch.

It’s like procreate and ibis paint x had a baby. I like the customization options. I wish there was a more in-depth tutorial lol that’s it.

Easily the best pixel art tool
It’s just really refreshing to see a pixel art suite done right- easily customizable interface, easy exports, everything ya need and then some. Regular updates, and a classy UI to boot. Exactly what I needed for sprite design!
The BEST app for ALL pixel art types!
I’ve been using this app for quite a while now, and it’s been so great!! I can easily access and edit my art, and I can customise my set up and canvas, and it’s so aesthetic overall. Highly recommend!
Incompatible for old iPads
I need iOS 1.16 to use this but this iPad is very old and i cant use it...
It’s a drawing app!
This app is awesome for pixel art! I learned to animate on it and it works great! It has all the tools you could want, and if you’re not using it for business or exporting things it’s free! It costs a little money but it’s definitely worth it.
