Version 2 is the biggest update since launch — a ground-up rebuild of how the app looks, feels and calculates. RETIREMENT COUNTDOWN WIDGET Put your retirement on your Home Screen or Lock Screen and watch it get closer. Small, medium and all three Lock Screen sizes, each showing how long you have left, your target, and whether you're on track. SAVE AND COMPARE PLANS Every calculation used to disappear the moment you closed it. Now you can save any plan, reopen it later, and put two side by side — to see what retiring two years earlier, or saving a little more each month, actually costs you. SUCCESS PROBABILITY A single fixed rate of return is an assumption no market has ever honoured. See how often your plan succeeds across 1,000 simulated markets, with best case, median and worst case outcomes. CHARTS AND YEAR-BY-YEAR DETAIL Every result now shows the path, not just the destination: a projection of your balance over time, plus a full year-by-year breakdown of contributions, growth and withdrawals. EXPORT AND SHARE Save any plan as a PDF to keep, print, or send to your adviser. SIRI AND SPOTLIGHT Ask "How long will my money last?" or "How much can I withdraw?" and get an answer without opening the app. Saved plans now turn up in Spotlight search too. REBUILT AROUND YOUR ANSWER • No more Calculate button. Your result updates as you type and stays visible at the bottom of the screen. • A short guided setup asks a few questions once, then starts all four calculators from your numbers instead of somebody else's. • A completely new look, with smooth animations and haptic feedback throughout. • Ages now have steppers, so nudging one by a year no longer means selecting and retyping it. ACCURACY AND FIXES • Corrected the maths in several places. Pensions and other income are now carried forward for inflation before they're counted, and your savings grow with your income the way the app always said they did. • Fixed results that could show impossible or negative amounts with certain combinations of ages, balances and rates. Every entry is now checked, with a plain explanation when something doesn't add up. • Numeric keyboards finally have a Done button. • Amounts follow your region's currency automatically, and you can pick a different one in Settings. • A safe withdrawal rate above 4% is now flagged rather than passed over in silence. ACCESSIBILITY • Results no longer rely on colour alone — every outcome carries an icon and a spoken description. • Full VoiceOver labels across every screen, and all animations respect Reduce Motion. SETTINGS • Light, Dark or System appearance, remembered between launches. • Restore Purchases, currency choice and privacy options all in one place. • Correct version information, and a support form that actually sends what you typed. FEWER, BETTER-BEHAVED ADS One banner instead of one on every screen, no ad when you return to the app moments after leaving it, and none at all for subscribers. PREMIUM Remove ads and unlock unlimited saved plans, success probability simulations, and PDF export. Free plans keep the four calculators, charts and up to three saved plans.
