Complete disaster
Worst app possible. Very buggy . Worked may be 50% of the time . The Bauer service that we used with it was equally horrible and dangerous . Stay away if possible
App Is Completely Unreliable
There are so many bugs. Updating the app often leads to the app not being able to open rendering it completely useless.

So buggy
Can you please try not to allow your app to send multiple, irrelevant text messages at 4am to your users? And perhaps not have updates every day upon trying to open the app? Thank you
That app you’re forced to use because your kid’s school does
Your team needs a new product leader. My daughter and I just laughed for a 5 full minutes over the features and execution of the latest software update. Seriously, since we’re stuck using it please hire someone competent.

8/10/23 - Please stop doing mandatory updates. The app is not working again after updating.

2/28/23 - Tried to open the app this morning and it kept saying no internet connection. So I tried to delete and reinstalled then it’s giving an error message (unrecognized token) when I try log in.

Crashing
The app crashes every time it opens. Deleting and reinstalling does not fix it.

Amazing Reservation System!
I’m really impressed with RidePal and how intuitive they are! I’ve used them with my company for many years and they are very proficient with vehicle tracking and it helps me get to work on time every morning.
They are intuitive because during this pandemic they have developed a reservation system that allows me to book my ride ahead of time because seats have been limited on my bus due to social distancing.
I’m really thankful that they did this because it makes me feel safe! Their entire app is nice and has improved my commute!

Great App
Very easy to use and navigate. Cool features.
Never works
Gets stuck on open screen 95% of the time. Completely worthless.
This app works half the time
It’s always fetching data and gets stuck on launching
The UX is subpar and confusing. It should tell users where the bus is automatically versus current workflow today. I have launch app, select time and then it updates where the bus is - it should automatically tell me where the bus is and eta to my stop

Mostly works but major issues to fix.
Pro: Overall generally has the route info and the shuttle current location. So delivers the basics usually.
Cons:
1) doesn’t work at all offline even just to show scheduled routes and stops. During their server outage the other day that made the app 100% useless. Developer: offline on mobile apps is a major use case.
2) shows all sorts of random routes not affiliated with my company that I need to sift through. Why login if it shows me all this extra stuff?
3) when I choose a route it doesn’t auto zoom to the zone around my location and the shuttle’s current location. You have my location and the bus’s location. Zoom in.
4) App startup time is painfully slow as it blocks the entire UI to load routes etc.
5) No push notifications for shuttle status / late / no tracker etc.
6) Could probably use a “eta to your pickup spot” feature.
If the developers spent a few mornings with commuters they could improve the app a lot with these and other optimizations. Thank you!

Functional but Needs Work
Not optimized for iPhone X and the ride history tab shows no information. The purchasing of passes and the digital pass card work well so from a purely functional standpoint the app is usable.
What is this?!
useless, annoying app. I can’t understand its function. I open the app, select my company route, and it shows the route outlined on a map. okay. It’s 5pm, the map shows my gps location and a box with 1:15 loop on it. Below it a box says 1:07 - 1:40pm ???
What does this even mean??? Where is bus? When does it arrive?
Here is my expectation, I open the app, the gps finds my location and says the next bus will arrive at your location in 5 minutes. If you want to get really ambitious an actual bus icon or arrow and it’s location on the route would also be nice.
