Great idea, not tailored to the seniors who have been trying to recycle for decades!
I had initially signed into Ridwell after numerous attempts to register with the service provided but living in a condo was a challenge. Used the service for a number of years and discontinued service while knowing I would be out of town for a number of months. Rejoined a few months ago but for the price and what is showing for pickups just doesn’t meet my needs, very disappointing experience since signing back up but it just doesn’t seem to work for those of us older people.

Great Service for Other Recyclables
Great bi-monthly service to pick up other recyclables not accepted by the city. It is a little work but worth the effort for reducing/re-using/recycling plastics and other special items.

I am new to Ridwell, but so excited to be part of keeping items out of our landfills that can actually be turned into useful items. Customer service with Ridwell has been consistent and helpful.
Bring back the “Photo Identification”
Learned the Photo-ID has been replaced with a set of wordy Categories, one must search thru to locate the proper category of item, replacing the simple, quick ID of taking a photo of the item, Takes multiples of time required to ID an item w/ new system.

Real recycling
This is a fabulous service. I feel so good about keeping the items out of the landfill, and having it repurposed. Plus Ridwell takes used non wearable clean clothing and underwear which will be made into useful items such as insulation. Check out their full list. Thank you Ridwell
Poor Customer service
I’ve been a subscriber for 4 years and have watched as Ridwell has expanded categories exponentially. I’m happy to support a company that’s so proactive and innovative, thus switched my subscription from monthly to annual 2 years ago. For the first 3 years I had no issues with pickups and any questions were promptly answered but in last year several pickups have been missed - in each case they didn’t own problem, no insight to cause and found way to blame me, the customer. There is no way to talk to a human, apparently because staff are forbidden from talking with customers? All this makes me think management/ownership changes are in works.

Love Ridwell
I love the idea of reusing materials instead of throwing them into a landfill. I’m happy to pay the monthly fee because I know I’m helping the environment, even if it is a small impact!

Today, July 15, is the 2x pickup day. I had lots of stuff collected before the 4th of July holiday week for Ridwell employees. Thank you for finding recyclable solutions for my stuff. Forever grateful.
Great recycling option
Reduce and Reuse still come before Recycling. We need to always be looking for ways to reduce plastic packaging and toxic chemicals. But for the many things that would go to landfill, I am thankful to have the Ridwell option.
The app has worked well for pickups and adding/changing categories for pickup. The staff has been very responsive to emails. And our driver is super friendly and helpful.

I have been recycle with this company for the past two years. I love it, you have a lot of different options every month to do more in depth recycling. Good customer service and always on time .

It is crazy how much your canvas bags can hold! Kudos to whoever decided to use these bags! I love them!
No pick up done
Not happy today my bin has been out and full since yesterday afternoon and I received a message that my bin was not out and it was. I need this rectified ASAP.

A well designed and well run service that I really appreciate. When too many people are trying too many things that don’t work, Ridwell does a great job of doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. Couldn’t be happier.

I can’t believe it took me so long to hop on this train. They are so great and communicate clearly and effectively each pick up. Between Ridwell, compost and recycling I barely produce any trash! It’s amazing.

We absolutely love Ridwell! It feels so great to keep things out of land fills. Between our curbside recycling, composting, and now Ridwell. We have less than one can of garbage a month that goes to the landfill.

So sorry to have to leave Ridwell. I moved and it’s not allowed where I live. I couldn’t be happier with Ridwell and what they have accomplished!
