Greatly improved with new update

The app’s reliability and ease of use have both improved greatly since the most recent update. It’s now possible to control all zones at once. Changes to temperature or other setting seem to take effect immediately and temperature measurements update in real time. It seems the developers have listened to user feedback and made significant improvements.

A joke of an App

The Comfort app has a fairly poor reputation among Mitsubishi owners. There's no way to troubleshoot anything within the app. My zone went “offline” in the Comfort app, but I can still control it with Alexa, and my wireless router shows it remains connected to my Wi-Fi. I can't even delete the zone once created, just to try recreating it. If I’d known I'd have to rely solely on this app, I wouldn't have chosen Mitsubishi devices. The UI is outdated, it lacks basic diagnostics, and the fact that you can’t check the connection status, Wi-Fi signal strength, firmware version, or event logs for an individual adapter is frustrating. An HVAC app in 2026 should definitely offer those features.

Changes temperature randomly

As it used to do (back when it was called Kumo cloud), it’ll change the set temperature on its own. I will set it to temperature A and then I’ll check later and see that it is now set for temperature B. It continues to fail at its most basic functionality.

Just the worst

It’s like being back in the early aughts when onboarding and managing devices was enough to make you go postal … ONLY WORSE. There is not time or space enough to describe how bad this app is. The developers should be ashamed.

Worthless

This app was great when it was Kumo Cloud previously. Since the conversion to Comfort it is unable to connect to our unit at all. Customer Support tried to help us but said because we have Verizon 5G internet it is not compatible. We understand the app needs to connect to the 2G WiFi band but he said the problem is that our router connects to Verizon via 5G. So a total waste for us.
