Greatly improved with new update
The app’s reliability and ease of use have both improved greatly since the most recent update. It’s now possible to control all zones at once. Changes to temperature or other setting seem to take effect immediately and temperature measurements update in real time. It seems the developers have listened to user feedback and made significant improvements.

A joke of an App
The Comfort app has a fairly poor reputation among Mitsubishi owners. There's no way to troubleshoot anything within the app. My zone went “offline” in the Comfort app, but I can still control it with Alexa, and my wireless router shows it remains connected to my Wi-Fi. I can't even delete the zone once created, just to try recreating it. If I’d known I'd have to rely solely on this app, I wouldn't have chosen Mitsubishi devices. The UI is outdated, it lacks basic diagnostics, and the fact that you can’t check the connection status, Wi-Fi signal strength, firmware version, or event logs for an individual adapter is frustrating. An HVAC app in 2026 should definitely offer those features.

Changes temperature randomly
As it used to do (back when it was called Kumo cloud), it’ll change the set temperature on its own. I will set it to temperature A and then I’ll check later and see that it is now set for temperature B. It continues to fail at its most basic functionality.
Just the worst
It’s like being back in the early aughts when onboarding and managing devices was enough to make you go postal … ONLY WORSE. There is not time or space enough to describe how bad this app is. The developers should be ashamed.
Worthless
This app was great when it was Kumo Cloud previously. Since the conversion to Comfort it is unable to connect to our unit at all. Customer Support tried to help us but said because we have Verizon 5G internet it is not compatible. We understand the app needs to connect to the 2G WiFi band but he said the problem is that our router connects to Verizon via 5G. So a total waste for us.

Piece of Junk
This app is worthless. Even the local installers cannot get it to recognize everything on our system. One of the mini splits can only really be controlled manually. The local contractors say it is a Mitsubishi problem. One of them spent 3 hours trying to debug the app (on our dime!) and still did not get it to work.

Expensive unit that has an app that will not work.
We bought this as a ac/ heat for our sunporch. The app as supposed to allow me to manage this unit. Problem is it will not work.
The dealer was out and also cannot get it to work. Will not connect the mini split to my phone.

Buggy UX
Please fix your UX.
It is impossible to create an event with desired heat temperature - it maxes out at 32F.
Then, when trying to save I get “InvalidSpHeatRange” exception - exposing bare exception class to the user is amateur hour. Both app developer and QA need to be demoted. Or give them more Claude credits to compensate.
In another part of the app temperature slider is not responsive - have to use +/- to adjust the temperature.
Schedule management is weird too - why is it event based? “Morning happened” is not an event
Version: 3.4.1.v15

NEW SCHEDULING UPDATE ATROCIOUS
Comfort implementation was disastrous. Once they got it somewhat figured out they screwed it up again with their nee scheduling update. None of my scheduling attempts work now. How can such great hardware have completely inept designers for their app/software???
Almost there
This App has brought us a long way from the days of the Kumo Cloud App. -Thank you! A couple of items still need to be fixed:
1. Turning off the blue light on the wireless adapters is not persistent. They turn themselves back on eventually.. seems like every few days.
2. When launching the App you need to ensure your read all the current settings from the units and display that within the App. I noticed that when managing from multiple devices, the App will show the last settings sent from that App vs reading the units and showing me what has been currently set from another app running on another phone or iPad.
3. You need to work on ensuring that the units receive the settings and confirm back to the App. I have noticed that quite often you go into the App and change for example from dry to cool or vice versa, only to realize a few minutes later that some of the units didn’t get the change. This also occurs with temperature changes, I’ll set it to 70 then later notice some units are running, I got into the App and a few are somehow set to 67.
4. When settings don’t get applied properly and you run into a scenario where some units are in cool and some in dry, the units that go into error mode, because you can’t mix modes on the same outdoor unit never report errors into the App. I would expect that if the unit is blinking with an error code, that the error would get reported back into the App.
Again way better than KumoCloud, but still needs a few more tweaks.

locked out
Now they managed to make it impossible for me to control my system remotely. How? By modernising the app in a way that does not work on my iphone as i do not have the latest version. Very irresponsible
Mode randomly changes despite schedule
I have the same schedule + auto (heat/cool) for every unit for every day. Nearly every day a unit will get set to *only* heat or only cool. Having things set to heat when it’s 90° out isn’t particularly useful.
Reconfigure after update?
How lazy on their end and frustrating for me….the updated the app then make me reconfigure it from scratch…and of course it won’t connect…connecting and setup have always been painful too….so thank you…. I had it perfectly working and now it’s not
Buggy Temp Control
Mostly a simple app to use, but temperature control in Auto mode has bugs and I can’t set the heating temperature at all. It gets stuck on 32 F. Please fix this and consider it a critical issue.
Won’t Update
The app gives me an error message; tells me there is a newer version and to update. But when I go to the App Store this is not an option, it just says Open.
User Interface bug with IPad Windowing
The latest release has introduced a bug. If you are using windows (as opposed to full screen) on an iPad version 26 or later, the Red/Yellow/Green window controls dots sit in the upper left hand of the window. This app puts its own controls (like the back arrow) in the same position. If you have Comfort running in a window, you lose the Comfort controls. You need to find a different location for those controls to be IPad OS compliant. Other than that, the app has been stable and responsive for me.

Just awful in every way
It is hard to understand how a giant company like this can release such primitive software. Setup took hours, even with the installers on site and with the customer service on the phone the whole time - you have to find serial numbers etc off of each unit. Now the app says something like “a new version of the app is available. You must update in order to continue to use it.”
Click on “Update” and it take you to the Alp store, where the app landing page says “open” which brings you back to the App which gives you the same error message. You guys should be ashamed.

Liked the old app but it’s ok except..
Keeps telling me there is an update but app store doesn’t show one.
App Store listing does not show current version and its release notes.

Come Along Way
Been a long time user of Kumo Cloud and now Comfort. The app functionality had significantly improved in the last 6 months along with reliability. My only real beef is that it still not integrated with Apple Home. Definitely moving in the right direction.
