Took an already bad app and made it worse

Awful. Continues to switch from either cooling (in summer mode) to heating, or switches on its own to winter mode.

Obscure. Confusing. Poor

Why does Mitsubishi make this so stupidly obscure.

ANNOYING BLUETOOTH PROMPTS

Every time I open the app it asks for bluetooth pairing permissions. NO. I already have my system/app/phone sync’d up via WiFi. Now every time I want to change the temp I have to deal with an annoying popup.
Also, the initial pairing process was very finicky and inconvenient.

Just had a heat pump installed

The app interface with the heat pump is not great. I had extraordinarily difficult time in getting the app downloaded and working from my phone. This was most likely a major fault of the installer who didn’t transfer the information from heat pump to me until several day after installation. They were under the impression that the app and its connection to the heat pump does not work seamlessly.
I recently had switched to a different internet provider and had to call the installer to help me get back online. We had to stand next to the furnace in the basement and hold my phone within 6 inches of the transponder to get connection. I was not impressed.
Overall, the installer advised me to not use the app but make adjustments at the thermostat.

Consumer app stripped of many useful features, no way to reset “check filter” reminders

App works fine but has been stripped of all useful configuration features (hidden in a contractor app?) which makes the app not as useful as it could be.

There is no way to get questions answered by the company and seeming no
Way to reset the annoying “check filter” reminder in the app for each of my 7 units despite me cleaning them out myself following YouTube.

Could be improved

Setting doesn’t hold

Still not holding my settings. 70s today and humid. Tried putting it in “dry” mode at 67 deg. Yes I did confirm. Found it “off” shortly after. Reset and tried again, same result. Switched to “cool” mode set at 67, and now the set mode has reset itself to 78 multiple times. I love the heat pump, but wish I would have gone with the installers other brand now.

Doesn’t work

Are you ever going to fix this app? It’s actually worse than Kumo Cloud which at least connected to all 4 of my splits. This one only connects to 3 and I have to use the remote for one. On the 3 it does work for it’s unreliable and doesn’t always actually turn the splits on/change the temp when it says it is.

Easy to use

Once you install the mobile app you expand the accessibility of the Mitsubishi Mini Split. I can travel and have peace of mind to adjust temperature as needed for changing seasons. 5 out of 5 stars!

Not following schedule

My AC is not following the schedule I set using this app. It will remain running when it is supposed to turn off. It will turn on randomly. This is very inconvenient.

Horrible

Can’t even log in. App is stuck in a loop and won’t even let me put in the correct email. I have deleted app, rebooted phone, added app again, updated phone, deleted app cache. It still keeps the wrong email address stored. Spent a lot of money on this system and can’t even use the app.

Can you fix the app from changing temp setpoint?

You added the confirm when you set a temp but the temp still changes to another number after you have set it. What’s the deal with this? Also, why can’t you set a temp based on the outside/external temp? I have to manually turn off the Cool mode during summer months when the temp is colder outside. You should be able to have it come on or off if the temp outside has reached a certain point. Schedule doesn’t work for this.

Random temperature changes

This app I’d better than the previous one but a frustrating problem is the that temperature setting changes randomly on a day to day basis. There seems to be no solution.

Can’t trust this brand

Sadly the Mitsubishi brand can no longer be trusted. I installed 2 mini split systems in my house less than a year ago. One unit has already been replaced, and now both units are getting replaced this week. Sadly this brand no longer stands for quality and reliability, I’ve lost all trust!

Totally Broken

Latest update to app (8-1-26) no longer connects to WiFi or the mini split. Completely non functional. Sees 0 Wi-Fi networks despite the WiFi working fine. Sees 0 devices. Fix asap

Erratic, buggy and inconsistent

It’s 2026, we deserve way better than this. Scheduling, a basic, basic, environmental controls function is barely functional. Most of the time it fails, miserably. Just search Reddit for “Mitsubishi Comfort App scheduling erratic and worthless”. We pay a lot of money for these systems, and the thermostats and apps are far inferior to the popular consumer systems like Nest and Ecobee.

Does the job, but stand alone

The application does make it easier to manage the AC. My main issue is that we get lots of separate apps - we can’t combine our home control devices into a standard, all-in-one screen.

Of course it would be great if I could manage things like lights, AC door locks, and cameras all in one . But this is even a step further away. No can’t even manage all my AC in one app.

This does support multiple Mitsubishi, which gets our units on the sunny side of the house. But the main Carrier unit feeding the rest has to be a separate app. This is silly.

I know, this is an argument about the industry in general, but this is why I can’t go 5 stars.

had it for about five years - only in the last year have they upgraded the app and it’s excellent!

I travel a lot and watch my house from thousands of miles away. We have the Mitsubishi in the sunroom that has huge fluctuation from hot to cold extreme. Now that the app is improved, I can keep it ideal all day long.

Schedule

The schedule function only allows the selection of a start time but no end time so is basically useless.

Bad app

The app constantly logs you out and move the ownership of the devices to the contractor that installed it, the only way to get it back is to call Mitsubishi app support. I’ve had the system for 2 months and this has happened 3 times. This app is so bad that even technicians have a hard time setting it up. When it works it does what it’s supposed to do, but the logout happens whenever there’s a forced app update, or even when it ask
You to review the app… any message from the app seems to trigger this logout and ownership transfer. I don’t have this issue with any other thermostat apps Mysa, Honeywell, Nest all work flawlessly.
