Total nightmare for mechanics
Plus to you drivers you think this app is free…. Far from it! RigApp is adding around 40-50% additional onto the bill. So it’s in no way free.
You just don’t see their fee because it’s disguised inside your bill.
Why pay 50% MORE when you can just google diesel mechanic near me and deal direct with whatever shop you wanna do biz with?
Last straw with them was them picking up numbers of mine in towns I work WITH OUT ASKING PERMISSION and they refuse to remove my phone numbers off their platform. This is running up my phone bill double and they just picked up the #s off the internet without asking.
Anytime I had trouble getting paid I would call the owner and he’d literally pick up the phone and hang it up on me. Because I hadn’t been paid. Later his phone guy tried to say he was too busy speaking to international investors to speak to me……. For 2 weeks?
Their latest scam is that they are fleet management looking for local service providers. Don’t fall for the scam they don’t pay their bills and they will not pay you for the work you do for them. As for drivers why pay 50% more than you need to? Do yourself a favor and leave this scam company in your rear view. Trucking is hard enough without overpaying for roadside assistance.

Like any user on Rig you can unsubscribe from getting notifications of jobs in your area, or go to the app to delete your account if you want. Payments are all processed within 2-3 business days like most standard ACH payments. Users can also get instant payment (service fee applies). Calling shops directly is nowhere as easy as you make it sound. Trying to find an available mechanic while calling random mechanics one by one is a time consuming nightmare, especially when dealing with a road emergency. We are able to put users in contact with dozens of mechanics in their area within minutes. This gives them a massive time and price advantage. But you already know that and that's why you are so upset. Your short-sighted business plan to control the phone lines in your area is not as lucrative anymore.
