Very nice

The game is really nice and instructive. The Menu is helping a lot, nice graphic, nice options to be chosen. Only issue, sometimes the Dora calculation seems wrong. Overall very nice and I am very happy to have found this app.

a

Fantastic client for riichi mahjong. I wish the camera zoom had an option to hold the zoom in place with a reset button.

Presque parfait

Les explications des Yaku en français seraient l’apothéose !

Best Mahjong Game

Normally I’m not inclined to write reviews for apps but I had to say how great this game is. The developer obviously put a lot of work into making this game as user/beginner accessible and it really helps for learning this specific Mahjong ruleset. Favorite part is the ability to flip the table and everything rag dolls. Great touch!

PERFECT!

A perfect design… so much fun playing this! The AR is awesome.

Great Mahjong app

This is a fantastic Riichi Mahjong app. Great tutorials and game play. Really well designed u/i and very stable. 5/5

Good game, but I had some problem on M1 MacBook

Positive impression about gameplay, sounds and UI.
On an M1 Macbook Air (Monterey) I had a problem with high temperatures in the CPU area. The consequence of this was the iBoot Panic error. I believe the reason is the lack of optimization of the application for systems based on Apple M1.

Pure and amazing minimalist Riichi Mahjong.

This game has everything you need to practice for fun or even to training your speed hand and yaku memorization. Difficult is well balanced to meet all players level. Also, you can create rooms for online games with your friends.

The best part for me is that you can find all WMC rules and other Riichi variations, chombo allowed, etc.

I’d would suggest only one little thing: put an “one page” illustrated yaku patterns for a fast consultation during game, like a button on the screen (instead of navigating through 2 or 3 menus plus yakus pages and tabs).

So, that’s it. Amazing app. Worth the time spent on this.

Amazing, Honest App

The developer is clearly a lover of riichi Mahjong, as this app is clearly a high quality Labour of love.

Excellent Rulesets and sheets, always accessible at any point in the game or in tutorials, makes it very easy to learn and apply rules.

Excellent and thorough tutorials.

Not a single ad.

Simple and clean interface. It might be a little basic but it’s no frills, everything and every available action is made clear.

Some graphical style. Calling certain game actions is still satisfying, with some nice effects when you get a Ron, or call a chi.

Runs smoothly, and no bugs.

Seamless, easy multiplayer. Creating a match is as simple as creating a room with a name and having others join it by putting in the name of that room. The net code runs smoothly and I never have noticed any bugs.

All this makes the app perfect for learning mahjong as well as just playing it casually with others. As it’s free and easy to set up for multiplayer you can easily convince others to download it for.

Faulty

I have downloaded this game multiple times because it has glitches. I had high games between 8 and 9 million points. But since then the game times out right around 4 million points. The keys stop working and a screen pops up that says ‘couldn’t load the saved game’ and ‘Oh no! The save file did not contain a valid mahjong game.’ ‘Try starting a new game instead.’
I don’t want to keep starting over! Kinda lousy.

A beautiful app.

The computer players have a good level of challenge, the tutorial is well-written, the online multiplayer doesn’t have any active games yet but as the app becomes more popular that will change.

bad

this used to be a good app but the powers don't work anymore and there is a bug with it telling you you are in furi ten when you're not

Great and true to form

I was introduced to mahjong through the Yakuza games, and have been hooked since. My only complaint is that they don’t have the markers for Riichi after it’s been called by anyone, but other than that, it’s an absolute comfort game with a bit of risk and a lot of complexity that anyone into intuitive gambling games could appreciate.

It works but…

It’s a bit jank. Too much focus on silly things like table flipping and not enough on UX. My biggest issue is it’s too hard to see tiles, they are too small on the screen and when you zoom, it doesn’t stay zoomed in. Permanent camera control would improve my rating significantly. I do like some things like how setup is shown, double tap to select tile, and the transparent scoring. Ups and downs, i bet this could rival PC/web clients if it it was a bit more focused on usability.

Cool, but please...

please add a setting that allows you to hide the display of the best discards for entering tempai and the counting of the remaining winning tiles.
This is, of course, very convenient, but with these tips I will soon forget how to play Richie Mahjong at the table

True to Japan

I’ve played dozens of times in Japan but this was the first app that helped me learn some of the things that had always been lost in translation because as you probably know much of the words are Chinese, even in Japan, so they have a hard time explaining why they score things the way they do. Anyway, just about my favorite app ever.

nice

very nice game, but not easy for a beginner to learn the yaku... and a counter for onlinegamers is missing, you dont know if there are players, who wants to play online.
And most important... the ai players are to fast in multiplayer, no time to think

Goof game

I ron :D

Great app

I like that the opponent difficulty can be changed, other apps are lacking this feature.

Would be nice to have a 3 player mode similar to Tenhou Online.

Perfect Riichi style Mahjong game

This game has everything. The models are well made, awesome animations, table flipping, a sleezy 90’s esque sound track. It’s everything I could’ve asked for a mobile Japanese Style Mahjong game
