Love the data this gives me. Makes my life so much easier. Would love to see a cycles widget for Mac OS. It gives me 6 apps but none give cycle data.
App is Terrible
For starters my review somehow always seems to disappear. I absolutely love this ring and everything it tracks. I always say it’s the Apple Watch of rings. However this review is about the app itself. It was amazing until they did a major update months ago and moved things around. I initially got this ring for cycle tracking. I loved that it was included on the man insights tab because it helped me actually track my cycle. Now they have moved it to a totally different area.. so it’s “out of sight out of mind”. I gave a 1 star because cycle tracking needs to be put back in the main insights page for women. Or at least give people the option to add or remove ANY tracking features they may or may not want on the insights. 🤷🏻♀️

Updates Seem to Kill Battery Life
I’ve enjoyed my ring for a year and the app has worked great however in the past 2 weeks as updates have been pushed out my battery life has been reduced to less than a day. I am draining to below 20% in about 8 hours. Either the app updates are bad or the product has a 1-year life expectancy. Either way it’s very disappointing because I really loved the experience when the product was working.

Was Great, now not so much
When this ring was new, it would last a week straight. After the most recent update, I barely last a day. Additionally, it drops data and has become almost worthless. I’m not sure if it’s the app, firmware or both. But it seems like since the new models are out, they made these obsolete.

I’ve had my ring for a few days now and I’m pretty impressed with it. We’ll see how it goes but so far I’m very happy.
But PLEEEASE, add fingerprint login. I switch from one phone to another depending where I am, and it’s frustrating having to enter my password info each time. Cmon, it can’t be too difficult. After all, it’s a device that monitors your body, surely fingerprint recognition isn’t too difficult to add.

App Glitches
Had the ringconn since March. Been enjoying it a lot. It allowed me to get rid of my Apple Watch and wear my regular watches again. My only little complaint is the that the app has been glitching/freezing a lot. And i noticed it’s been mostly after it was upgraded.
Your health is a joke to Ringconn
If your health is serious to you, this isn’t the ring. They gamify results, like it’s a joke to them. I am not a 12 year old who needs a treat when stats are good enough that I don’t die. It feels very much like Duolingo: chase badges, and after two years still don’t know how to construct even a single sentence. But then with health. It’s a feature they are forcing you into. Silly badges. Breathe. Get a badge. Walk. Get a badge. Don’t have a heart attack. Badge. Who at Ringconn thought I bought the ring for any other reason than that I have health concerns?!
If the makers are so disconnected with reality this ring cannot possibly measure up to more serious devices. Give it to your 8 year old he may think it’s “fun.”

Login doesn’t work
I just downloaded this app and I can’t logic with my credentials I use on the web. Password reset doesn’t work neither. What a waste of money, will have to initiate a return now!
Absolutely love!
I received the RingConn this past Christmas as I was looking for a better alternative to the Oura. I absolutely love this ring! It has all the same data, similar feel and similar app components. My favorite part is that if there is ever an issue or suggestion, you can write a report to the team and they are absolutely on top of it! I received an email 2 days after my suggestion with a perfect fix that made the app so much better. This is definitely my favorite brand of a health ring

The new update is trash
I love this ring, and the fact that there is no subscription; however, this new update freezes, data isn't populating and it makes it harder to get your data which is the whole purpose of the ring.
Ring battery lasted less than a year
Battery is drain suddenly, with no warning or notification. It charges quickly but drains fast. It lasted 9 months. The app doesn’t refresh automatically, you have to open it and manually refresh which takes 1-2 minutes.
App Update is terrible
The interface of the new update is awful. I used to be able to see everything neatly and easy to read. Now it is difficult and frustrating. How can we change it back?

Hatte nach 8 Monaten das Problem, dass der Akku nicht mehr ok war. Der Ring wurde problemlos umgetauscht. Die ersten zwei Tage waren alle Messungen meiner Aktivitäten normal. Seit Dienstag bricht immer wieder die Verbindung zwischen Mobile phone und Ring weg, sobald man das Handy in die Tasche steckt. Trainingsstrecken werden nur noch teilweise abgebildet. Alles neu aufgesetzt. Trotzdem besteht das Problem.

New app sucks
The new app has too many bugs. My data is never loaded. The old app worked great. There’s only been problems with the new one.
Disconnecting
With the recent update my ring keeps disconnecting from my phone/bluetooth
Font way too small
I was really enjoying the app until this update. The words now on the insights page look waaaay too small and very hard to read. I have tried tons of things to make it bigger and nothing works. I find it unnecessary to have done that. That’s just sad.
ちゃんとリコールしてくれます
すぐバッテリーがなくなると言っている方がいますがカスタマセンターに連絡すればリコール品だと教えてくれてすぐ新品送ってくれます。リコール品を今だに売っている量販店がどうかと思いますが…
あと、アプリ上だとバッテリー残量がまだあるように表示されますが実際にはバッテリーの減りが早いので遅くとも週一くらいはフル充電しないとバッテリー持たないです

New update issue
The new update made is so the “care mode” working anymore - the numbers on the main page got smaller and harder to see - can you fix please?
Battery dies after 1 year
They just want you to buy a new ring after 1 year. The battery would not charge properly after warranty expires. It would charge 100% in like 10 minutes. Then battery dies shortly thereafter. No monthly fees but ring lasts one year.
Loved… until the update
I absolutely loved the ring, the app, everything about it exceeded expectations. Then the app “updated” to a new layout. I will say the old one took some getting used to, but had all kind of great info but the data was all there, got timely alerts, etc.
However, the app layout changed and I can hardly get any data to load, much less any alerts. So disappointing after it was working fine. Recommended to so many people and now I would never… I hope they correct the issue soon.
