Exactly why I use riverside
There is no way to edit just an audio podcast.
No way to fully edit just an audio podcast you have to have several things just to even use this app
Best app for content creation ever couldn’t recommend more
I use it when I need to make any type of content and use a trash mic and bad background as I know they will fix it all for me in the AI editing phase

Wonderful
almost unusable
I use the app to upload pre-recorded reels and simply add subtitles. The entire process is filled with glitches for me. After I select the font I want, the video won’t play. If I go out of the project and come back in on the edited version, it shows the video with subtitles but not with the font I selected. Then if I try to export, the subtitles will be in the font I wanted but they only play the first few lines and the subtitles freeze while the rest of the video continues to play.

Not letting me trim videos without sound or video coming off. Then it gives me error if I try to export edited video
Instabil
Leider läuft die Software, in der Bezahl-Version, oft sehr unzuverlässig. Ein Beispiel: die Tonspur wird nicht durchgehend verbessert. Der Sound ist dann oft einfach dumpf und man kann ihn nicht anpassen.

Mobile Editing sucks
I have been using Riverside for over a year now, and there’s been many updates to the app since I started. I can confidently say that editing clips from a recording for short form content is just as bad as it was a year ago. Nothing has changed. Editing on PC is fine, but trying to edit a magic clip on my phone feels impossible. Get Riverside for PC only. Don't waste your time with mobile

Don’t Get This App!
I’ve lost all my content after working 30 hours and had teams on it same thing happened. I upgraded, didn’t work, customer support is horrendous🪰they never help just say they will email you in a few days and someone less qualified and confused just takes hours to respond to you. This has happened 4 times. Not worth it.

No good for long term projects (podcasts)
They just discontinued music they had on their library so if you are using their materials you will be caught on not being able to continue… its absolutely crazy. I guess the app is good for time off but not if you plan to record several episodes and rely on their features
Predatory Practices
I had the app for a few months and then I didn’t need it anymore so I went to cancel it. Upon trying to cancel they offered me three free months. I made sure to cancel before that was up but then still got charged. When I reached out to customer service they said they had no record of me canceling. On top of that the app stopped working for me to be able to access my information or subscription. Horrible experience.

Update is much better!
I have been waiting for an update that takes care of a lot of issues with the glitches and I’m very happy to see that on PC the updates are amazing; I’m still waiting for a few more things to be smoothed out on the mobile app. Thanks team!
