Worked well at first, but now is utterly useless
RoadReady worked relatively smoothly for my first 62 hours of driving, and then, as soon as they released a recent update, it has been nothing but problems, and I don’t think it has worked more than ~10% of the time since. I also hate the ads they added in the update, since the distraction they cause seems like the complete opposite of what a safe driving app should offer. Additionally, the driving behavior tracker also seems very arbitrary, as it constantly records extremely low scores for acceleration and braking, and perfect scores on speed limit behavior, regardless of how I drive. The orientation of the phone also seems to make a difference, though, so any readers take note that the top of the phone should ideally face the front of the car and be layed flat on its back in the center console, not upright on a phone holder or sideways. Finally, the constant app crashes, forced re-loggins, and its claims that I have the wrong email or password, with the fact that the ‘forgot password’ emails never show up, make this app just awful. Oh, and one more thing: It can’t even keep track accurately of the hours — it first deleted about 60 of my hours and only displayed 19 of my completed hours; then it stopped working for almost a month, and is now showing 147 hours for no reason at all and claims I have already logged the max amount of hours and am not allowed to record any more. Then it crashed instantly and is now only able to load the ads and not any of the app content. In my personal experience, this app is terrible; if it works for you, then great, but as soon as it starts acting up, I would advise that you just print out your log from it, and then do the rest of the hours on paper.

Stop with the updates
Can we stop with the updates. Finally got my account back to from previous update and now it’s gone again.
Black screen
This app was already awful with it constantly logging me out and not recognizing that I had linked a child. I often had to delete it and reinstall to get it to work. But now it just goes to a black screen of nothingness when I log in. My child’s test is coming up soon - hopefully it can be fixed so we can access her required records …. Download the log often and keep a copy offline!

Terrible app
Forced to use this terrible app. Keeps crashing. Have to delete and redownload. Absolutely terrible app and can’t wait for my kid to get her license so I never have to use this again
Don’t bother using this app
Truly one of the most frustrating apps for logging hours. Don’t even bother using it - get another app or just pen and paper to log your hours. I wish I had logged my kid’s hours in another format when she started in May. Now she’s almost ready to get her license but we can’t remember the exact number of hours to report to the DMV. The app is inaccessible- keeps crashing.

I would not use this if it wasn’t the only app that the state uses for new drivers.

Broken constantly
They updated this app again and let me spare you the suspense…It’s just as bad and unreliable as ever. I login today and see the dashboard appear and then the screen goes black. Stays black. Can’t fix it by closing the app. This app is always broken. I try to use the app because I figure it’s better than pencil and paper but I think tracking manually would be less painful.

Used to be okay, now terrible
My student’s driving log keeps disappearing, whether it’s my login or hers. So we keep starting over, then it disappears again. Support doesn’t respond. When it is working, the post-drive ratings are worthless (10/10 on horrible drives, 2/10 on great drives). We’re using paper now despite our state requiring this app. We used it 3 years ago for another kid and it worked fine before all the terrible updates.

When you open the app it goes to a black screen and won’t let you use the app, this app is a disgrace

This app used to work great. I used it for four kids. There would be very rare outages or network issues but nothing major. A month or two ago the whole app was revamped or redesigned and now it’s a complete mess. We’ve lost all my fifth kid’s drives. It’s making him sign in separately with his own email. And now when I open the app I get a nonexistent ad with a broken image, then it goes to a completely black screen where nothing happens at all. It’s like the whole app is dead. I have no idea what s going on, customer service doesn’t respond to emails, and I’m about ready to scrap this for a phone note instead. I think this was originally built or sponsored by State Farm, why can’t they get it working???

App never works properly
App always has glitches and doesn’t work when needed. Can’t log drives accurately and have to add later when the app does finally work. Awful!!!!!

App won’t work. Gets stuck on AD when you open it. Can’t log kids hours.
Completely stopped working
Tried to log in to add my son’s hours, nothing would load. Tried reinstalling and nothing. What are they focusing on when they release something like this?

Such a great idea and I was excited to use this app. I could never get my son to get logged in. We literally tried 25. - 30 times. So I resorted to using a different app
Unusable Trash App
If I could give negative stars, I would. This app must have been made by elementary school children—not the bright ones. Forces a login every use…and you can’t log in 90% of the time. Touch/Face ID don’t work at all. The latest awesome bug is going to a black screen immediately after attempting to login. Fun!How this passed any cert is unfathomable. The app and its creators are embarrassingly bad.

Erased all my data!
When I originally downloaded this app in March I had clocked 10 hours with my kid but once the update happened I couldn’t get into my account anymore. Yet when I tried to start a new account my previous email address was taken. Tried to update the password the app said I didn’t have an account and no response from despite emailing multiple times. Started a new account with a new email and every time we try to log in there is some issue of it not working needing an update opening it and the app turns black. I’m just going to log it on paper. This is absolutely ridiculous. Worse app I’ve ever used.
