Easier than ABRP for real road trips
I’ve used ABRP before and it’s great if you want to spend time fine-tuning every detail, but RoadToaster feels much easier when I’m actually driving. What I like most is that it doesn’t just pick one charger and leave you stuck if something goes wrong. It shows backup options along the route, which makes a big difference on longer trips. CarPlay works well too, and overall it just makes EV road trips feel less stressful.

Barely functioned during trial
Tried the app out but it seemed like a work in progress, after seeing an update available I tried it again and now it seems totally useless without a subscription.

Thanks for giving RoadToaster a try. The issues affecting the earlier version have since been fixed. RoadToaster includes a two-week free trial, after which most features require a subscription. I understand that may not suit everyone, but the subscription requirement is intentional and not a limitation caused by a bug.
Must have app for EV owner
The offline feature really saved my life. Particularly a lot of chargers are in rural areas with no internet. Amazing easy to use UI. Highly recommended!
