Worst experience of my life

Not only is it a 50% chance that the machine is even working but it’s also a 50/50 chance that the app does its job. I’ve been to 6 of these machines and every single time I’ve had to call the customer service. the customer service has no clue what they’re doing and will either lie to you on what to do ending in failure. They can’t answer a single question without lying to you about what to do. Also it averages 15$-30$ every time why tf would I get an EV if it’s more expensive than gas

Chargers ok. App is hot garbage

If you need the app to charge, good luck. But if you use PlugShare and find a good charger that takes credit cards just do that .

Basically worthless

Our family, fortunately, rarely ever needs to use public chargers. This Christmas was the first time we’d taken a trip that required the utilization of the public charging network. As such, we used almost every variation out there. Each time, we either had apps to download and/or could use a credit card at the station. Nothing about the Francis Energy station we stopped at was obvious about it’s use. Credit cards wouldn’t work. The app wouldn’t work. After we called to get help because we felt stuck there without the ability to charge up to continue, the agent got the charger to start. It would only send 85kw to our vehicle. (Much less than the 200kw stated for the station) *there were no other cars charging in case anyone thinks that may have been why*. The rates were also the absolute highest we saw anywhere from Colorado to Tennessee. The unfortunate thing is that most will only read this too late.

Unreliable

Very unreliable, over 90% of the time chargers do not work.
