Incredibly annoying onboarding
The app makes you go through a mountain of slop questions prior to letting you do anything. It's also overly aggressive and made me miss important calls. Go with someone else.
Ripoff
The price started at 2.99 monthly and increased to 7.99 and now they are gonna start charging 12.99 per month. That’s a 1000% increase. I cancelled and am using another app that’s half the price and does the same thing
So far hasn’t blocked anything
I’ve only had the blocker for a day, but so far it hasn’t blocked anything. Everything is set up properly, but I’ve continued to get calls and texts that my iPhone marks as Spam Risk. Troubleshooting doesn’t help, and when you go to the help center it just says to go back to troubleshooting. Glad they offered a free trial because this app is very expensive and does literally nothing.

Constant failures iPhone
This app does not function well on my iPhone. I can accept a call it tried to flag, and if I get another spam call at the same time, it will put my real call on hold and no way to switch back. It blocks my children’s schools from calling me automatically and is not intuitive enough to make it easy for me to correct this issue. I still get massive amounts of spam calls/texts/voicemails about lending regardless. Since I’ve installled it, I’ve had my husband and other family members start to get spam addressed to me instead, and that is a worse problem. It’s equally as disruptive as the spam.

On a free trial, you will literally get more spam calls. Horrible. No good.
Was going to renew but..
I had to cancel a couple months ago because my financial situation was getting pretty tight and I couldn't afford the $5.99/mo for this service. I come back to renew because the spam calls are ramping up again and my budget opened up to where I could afford it again and now the lowest subscription available for me is $10.99/mo. Um? No. I had to quit at $5.99 due to hard times. And now that I can afford that 5.99 tag it's telling me it's increased? Hell no. I'll just block numbers when they call. I don't care if they're being spoofed or not. I don't ever answer my phone anyway and I only know like 2 people. Bring your rates back down or keep losing customers. Everyone is struggling in this terrible economy. Being greedy isn't going to make people want your service.

Quality has gone downwards
This use to be a great app when it came out. Now iPhones basically automatically screen your calls. The price was 5.99. Now it’s jumping to 10.99. That’s just greed. I’ll be canceling and moving onto a new spam blocker.

Good concept
This app successfully screens spam callers and wastes their time. It also gives you a lovely recording of the spam callers talking to your robot. Unfortunately, many spam bot centers now use AI bots that look for specific responses fo avoid wasting time (“can you answer yes or no?”), which RoboKiller’s recordings can’t effectively counter.
Still, I appreciate not having my phone ring throughout the day, and I HUGELY appreciate them getting my information off the databases these spam callers use. That alone has decreased the number of spam bots I get.
If it were cheaper, 5*. Because they charge $100+/yr, 3* until they can figure out a RoboAIKiller to get the AI bots to transfer to a human.

Stopped working
I got the app about a week and a half ago, it worked really well at first. However today the call forwarding and screen call feature completely stopped working. I noticed when I woke up this morning and had a couple spam calls that weren’t logged in the app. The calls also rang through my cellular network. I troubleshot for about 2 hours and contacted support. Support couldn’t really help me because it was AI and could only respond in automated responses.
