Essential app if you need to get things done
After getting 14 calls from India in one day last year, I decided to either break my phone or find an app that works. Well, this one works. Immediately. No, I don’t need an extended warranty. No, I don’t have Medicare. I was in a bad mood anytime my phone rang. That is not a good disposition to start a conversation with when you own a small business and take calls from customers. This app has genuinely improved my quality of life. The only reason I came back to write this review almost a year later is because the app messed up and I got 10 calls in one day. Had to re-download the app and now my life is better again.

Predatory Subscription
Signed up for 7 day trial. Forgot to cancel. On day 8 I saw my card was charged for 1 YEAR of service at $137. I immediately cancelled and requested a refund. Apple denied it. I appealed. Apple denied it. I contacted RoboKiller support. They said they can’t do anything and all refunds must go through Apple. I called Apple and appealed. The lady was nice but said they can’t help me. At no point was I ever given a reason for the denial. I feel like $137 was stolen from
me by a trillion dollar corporation.

Rip off rape
Do not believe the positive reviews. This app does nothing. They charge an exorbitant amount of money. They sneak the extra charges in. Over $200 per year. When you try to cancel and get refunded, Apple says too bad and continues stealing from your bank account. Avoid at all costs. I had to cancel my credit card to stop them from stealing from me!!

Eliminates 99% of spam calls!
Spam calls still coming through
Signed up to for RoboKiller to handle the extremely excessive calls from robo callers. Ten minutes after signing up my phone is still ringing away with spam.

It would be great if I could assign a particular recording I record to a particular numbers range. I have an in-home health visit company that even though I tell them don’t call anymore, they continue to call. I’ll block their numbers, even ranges of numbers that they use, and they’ll switch to another range of numbers. That’s OK I’ll block everything eventually, but I’d sure love to start notifying them by voicemail greeting when they call that I’m making a record of their harassing calls. I don’t want every caller to hear that Recording just a certain range of numbers. Just my .2 cents. Thanks for the Awesome SPAM call blocking app!!!

Great app but needs more!!!
Absolutley love this app and the answer bots it has to mess with scammers, but I have hit a brick wall, hard… I got a new work phone as well and wanted to protect it, and… you guessed it, won’t let me add another number to my subscription, it basically makes you buy a new freaking subscription. I hope eventually they add a feature where you can add another number and not have to pay for a brand new subscription, I’m so bummed.

App crashing
I seem to keep having issues with crashing.
Since signing up with this app I have had nothing but issues with this app crashing. It allows for calls and messages to come thru it pinwheels and nothing does what it says states it will do voice mail function doesn't work either. On my mom's phone it works great and she has a iphone 11 but on my iPhone 12 Pro it doesn't work at all so I paid for nothing...and I'm not happy.... Update 6-10-2026 I have given this a second try I have a different carrier which is T-Mobile and a new iPhone 17 Pro Max, and yet it still does not work. Again, my mom hers works great and she doesn’t seem to have issues with anything, but with mine, I can’t even fully set it up to go any further than it has so this just does not work and I am going to have my mother to cancel my subscription yet again

Does not work pay to basic features like screen incoming calls
Deleted within three hours. Received repeat offender spam caller and robokiller didn’t do anything. You have to pay extra just to screen calls yet they want access to your contacts and expect you enter each individual spam caller you receive. Deleted within three hours of free trial installation. Garbage

Why has my app not available
The price of the subscription is outrageous!
It’s so expensive they price it per week instead of per month. Their monthly service costs as much as some cell phone service plans! Totally not worth it.
SMS blocking is broken
RoboKiller claims that it has a feature which blocks spam SMS messages. While this feature can be found in the app, it is completely, 100% non-functional. It does not block any SMS messages, nor does it move messages from unknown senders to the Unknown & Junk folder in the Messages app.
If you are hoping to prevent SMS spam, RoboKiller is going to disappoint you.

Scam
Does not work!!! And they make it way too difficult to delete the account. Spam calls are very annoying, but this app is WORSE than the calls. Don’t use this app!!
Saves being bothered spam
RoboKiller is quite creative and it’s responses to spam calls and blocking unnecessary callers saving me time and effort. They know when to let something important go through even if it’s not on your contact list I am dismayed to learn that the price is going up so high, and may have to cancel because of it.
