Best decision ever!
I had just bought an $800 Dyson a few months before I purchased this, I have no need for it anymore, this Roborock is amazing and I don’t know how I lived without it for so long
Painful. Multiple issues
First, QR code in app does NOT read device QR code. Blurry. Need to manually enter/select device from list which doesn’t have my model which I bought in the last 3 months. Second, the device went into spot cleaning instead of reset WiFi several times. Third, size 4, grey type on a white background for onscreen text is unreadable. I had to screen shot & enlarge images to read the directions. Four, easy enough to set up schedules BUT the titles do NOT tell you what room(s) are in the routine. You need to open the routine and check a map. Stupid. Five, I need to reconnect my vacuum every time there’s a power outage or it shuts itself down.
It’s also hard to find/check your history.
Roomba had a much better app and it was easier to reconnect.
Finally you’d expect Network Settings to allow you to check the selected network and even change the network or update the password but you’d be wrong.

Great vac!
I love my Roborock QX Revo Plus! It is quiet while vacuuming and mopping, but louder when emptying the bin or washing the mop pads, but that only lasts a few seconds. I was very concerned about how was it going to transition from floor to carpet when it was mopping and it does it just fine. It does not crash into my baseboards or furniture like my previous robot vacuum did, I’m really happy with this one.

Auto mapping
Map gets adjusted too quick. If I accidentally close a door for one run the robot immediately thinks it can’t clean that room anymore. But otherwise, it is an exceptional cleaning robot.
100% Spyware
This app requires you to authenticate and store your network credentials. There is no useful purpose for this other than spying on your network. The device was already connected to WiFi, and worked just fine without needing to store my network password. It also requests the attempt to discover devices on the network, so it is looking to traverse and monitor other things on it. I just thew my unit into the garbage. Hard pass.

Worst appliance ever. Won’t connect to router that it was connected to before and help is rubbish. Avoid at all cost
Maps need so much more improvement
Live the roborock, not the app. Make it easy for a member to define rooms and which rooms should be cleaned on what schedule

Great Tool
Overall a great tool. The mapping editor could use some work. It’s not easy to edit boundaries and renaming rooms doesn’t always save after exiting.

Amazing amazing amazing never knew I would love this so much not only does it make our lives easier but it’s a unexpected piece of mind walking around the house knowing it’s always clean on the floors it just can’t explain it. It’s awesome.

Continue innovating I love this software and the products. Please continue doing a good job and I’ll be purchasing more robots in the future.
Network connection issues
Bought the vacuum a couple weeks ago, and it worked fine, vacuumed according to schedule. Had to reset our home WiFi with a change of password and the vacuum will absolutely not connect to the network now. Spent hours on the phone with WiFi provider and have been on hold with Roborock for over 30 minutes with no estimated wait time for customer service answering the call. I’m a pretty tech savvy adult, but I think this vacuum may not be able to handle a change of network password. Buyer beware. And as I mentioned, customer service is so far useless. I had high hopes for this vacuum, but might just send it back.

App is awful and always resets
Every single time I go into the app to start the cleaning my device has been deleted and I have to reset everything up. Not only is the device gone but all of my settings and maps! So frustrating
Room for improvement
I love our robot and the app is generally very good but there is still room for improvement, more specifically when launching multi floor cleaning. It is complicated to launch a cleaning session on a floor with no dock and the app should be designed in a way to assist with this.
Beware
The new “Explore” tab needs to go. It is a privacy nightmare and the user experience of that tab (which seems like a website) is completely disconnected from the primary purpose of the app.
Cleans well
This little machine runs pretty quiet unless something gets stuck in the brushes. Then it’s loud and you know it needs some assistance. Cleans carpet and hardwoods very nicely. Navigates really well around chair legs and other things. We have two 100lb dogs and they shed a lot. It’s nice to not wake up to dog hair covering the floors. It did have a hard time the first couple cleans as so much dog hair it clogged the brushes but that’s my fault. Runs smooth and quiet once again
