Claims to identify rocks, but could not identify a rock I found on a trail correctly. It tried to convince me it was a mineral twice before finally giving me a metamorphic rock that didn’t look anything like my rock. This app identifies minerals, not rocks. When I tried to use he database on my own using the information I already had. The furthest I got was a metamorphic rock, which is a type of rock but I needed to be more specific. Garbage.

When I was trying to identify my rocks this premium thingy popped up on my screen and I ignored it and clicked close.When I tried to take another photo it popped up on my screen again and it wouldn’t let me take a pic!!!All rock people do not try this app.

Please don’t get this app. No refunds. Really bad app. 🫤 *I came back after have had deleted it wondering why I had paid for a year subscription for an app I didn’t even have in my phone so I redownloaded it because I obviously forgot how bad it was and it hasn’t been updated since the 7 months I tried to get a refund, still getting every single crystal wrong. Worthless, waste of time and money.

Disappointed
I am very disappointed with the camera of this app because it does not allow close up pictures and often says picture is blurry when it is not, I brought the membership and wish I could have my money back
