Terrible experience, terrible customer service

I’m a harp teacher, and was very excited to try rock out loud, because I was having issues explaining to students how to use zoom in real time audio.
I tried the free trial of rock out loud for a one week period, and it was absolutely terrible.
Each of my students on the three lessons I tried it on constantly had audio cutouts throughout the lesson multiple times, and the only way to fix it was for them to log out and back in, and this didn’t always fix it.
I ended up moving back to zoom for each of the lessons that day.
The issue is, that I didn’t cancel the free trial on time, and was charged for a month after my trial.
I contacted rock out loud immediately, explaining to them that it did not work for me at all, and that I had no intention of continuing with it, and that the free trial accidentally wasn’t canceled, and kindly asked for a refund.
I was declined this, even though only a short amount of time went by from the time the trial finalized.
This is absolutely terrible customer service
I mean, come on, their app didn’t work for any of my three students, I had everything set up correctly on both sides, and I’m very technically inclined so I understand what I’m doing. What’s up with them not refunding me? Their app didn’t even work. And I notified them very shortly after the trial accidentally finalized.
I really expect more from them.
They made a terrible mistake doing this.
If they would have refunded me, I would probably continue checking in with them from time to time to see if they have it fixed.
But after this disgusting lack of interest in their customers, I have no plan ever of going back to them.
Sorry rock out loud, you lost a long term potential customer who could have brought you many more teachers.
You guys really should get some education on customer service techniques. I doubt this was worth the 9.99$ you managed to haggle out of me for this.

Amazing sound and excellent support from Mike Grande

I started using ROL over a year ago as I was sick of the awful lag and sound from
Zoom etc. $10 per month for me as the teacher and piano pupils use this free app. I would never use a free one now!

Mike Grande is so helpful too and works hard on updates and treating us well

100% love it!

Best music lesson app

I love using this app for my violin lessons. It is built for music lessons and has multiple screens. The teacher can even use the online library for music to. I switched to this from zoom and it’s a lot better! Would recommend!

I love it
