Thanks for the honest review, and sorry the detection's been patchy in acoustic, we know how much that matters when you're learning. Acoustic picks up through the mic, so it's sensitive to the room: playing somewhere quiet, keeping the guitar freshly tuned, and checking the input source usually tightens it up a lot. I was just tuning my b string in standard e and it would only read as the g string and it caused my string to break I would not recommend just buy a physical tuner or ask a friend for free
