What's New in Rocky Mountain CU Mobile

2026.6.4

General bug fixes and performance enhancements

User reviews

New contractor/team hired every two years.

I’m tired pf the app changing endlessly. Why can small improvements be made to current versions for long periods like Kaizen? What is this American obsession of starting from square 1, to infinity and beyond? It’s irrational and wasteful, in addition to be in a total PITA. Upon going to pay a bill, for some reason I am required to enter multiple ANTIQUATED & USELESS inane questions about last names and home towns, beat friends, pets names, etc. I despised this before I found out it was busywork much less now. Ever notice you have to create a password that only leads to multiple steps or two factor authentication? The passwords feel like they do squat and research bears that out. SO THEN, why is the new app FORCING me to do some inane lemming work in order to use a basic function on the credit unions’s app that I belong to? I occasionally check my balance and then delete it again. I hate when programs try and run me. I’m the human and therefore the boss or I won’t use it. I’m perpetually unhappy with the bank app as soon as it becomes well understood and bug free, they toss it and bring in some new talent or something. I hate it!

PLEASE TELL ME I’M NOT ALONE!

Used to be the best

This used to be the best banking app, but with the new changes, whatever they are, I can’t even login. App support just sends me to a secure email for the bank, not helpful. Even the two new bug fix versions that came out won’t let me login. Too bad. I wonder if others are having the same issue. Hope they get it fixed so I can change my rating.

Overall, great staff

The staff are wonderful. But not having your bank be open on the weekends isn’t the best. When they do their scheduled maintenance it never happens on time, it always starts denying you access to your accounts early and later than said. During maintenance you have no way of knowing what is in your account, you can’t go online, the app, call, or even go to the ATM during that time. Their mobile deposit is the worst set up I’ve ever dealt with. You have to write “for mobile deposit only at Rocky Mountain CU” and unless you TYPE it on the check just right, it won’t read it. Forget about you hand writing it, it won’t read it no matter how nice your penmanship is. Defeating the purpose of mobile deposit, since you inevitably have to bring the check in to be deposited. If you’re needing a local bank it’s not a bad option, but for someone who needs access 24/7, I’d definitely have another bank as well.

Poor mobile deposit feature

I have used a couple different iterations of this app and then all the deposit feature is the worst. I’m thankful I did not have to deposit checks very often or I would never be able to deposit anything until I physically made it to the bank.
