Voice recognition

The voice mechanics are awful. Made it unbearable to use when I was saying things perfectly and had to keep repeating myself

Useless!!!!!

I’m having a very large issue whether I sign in online or through the app on my iPhone 17 Pro Max or my new iPad Air. It doesn’t matter if I use earbuds a USB microphone or just use the embedded mic in my devices, the app or the website is not recognizing that I’m speaking into it. Garbage service after paying hundreds of dollars.

It works great as a secondary learning source!

It’s a certain type of learning style, that kind of throws you in the deep end. But I think it works really well at supplementing my language tutor!

Progress bug

The home page never updates my progress for each unit. I have to select a unit then exit out for it to show my actual progress. This happens every time I open the app.

Visual is best

I was not sure how i felt about this app, but visual learning helps a lot, i would still recommend you a good grammar book or watch tutorials online for proper grammar, if you have questions, but if you really want to amerce yourself in the language and not use cheap duolingo, for $200 dollars you can learn almost any language for life, they have monthy options if you can’t afford that, trust me the emersion is worth the price, i’ve taken spanish classes in college and have a better understanding of it on here than i do a year taking spanish

Easy to learn, no monthly fees

Paid in full during a Black Friday deal, came with 20+ languages and I don’t need to pay a monthly subscription!

Excellence!

Best language course available!

?

Ok I’m gonna be really honest. Rosetta Stone is not a good app to learn stuff. For example I was learning Korean and it just started throwing random sentences for me to say. And it was genuinely so confusing. If you need a good app to learn
Korean, Japanese, or Spanish try “TEUIDA”. It’s a really good app and it helped me a lot.

Lazy not useful

How about you add a translation to what it is that you are saying, so we actually know what is being taught.

Recomendando

Muy bueno si le pones empeño aprendes

Évaluation

Très bonne application pour apprendre les langues. Je suis vraiment ravi.

Duolinguo is ultimately better

I don’t know, this app is just super boring sometimes. The speech machine is hit-or-miss, the lessons seem all the same, and you can’t access a tutor without paying money. The live lessons are good though. Wouldnt recommend if you prefer something more colorful and complex.

Amazing

Effy is such a great developer! That microphone state machine was so consistent.

So fun and fulfilling!

In the same age where we’re constantly taking things in that are just entertainment when you finish the short fun, easy lesson if you feel good about yourself and it’s one of the only ways to keep your brain renewing and getting better learning, a musical instrument or language and with Rosetta Stone it’s infinite and why not reach out

Great way to learn a language

I

DOESN’T WORK!

I have a new headset. The app can’t hear me, it doesn’t even recognize input when I speak. I say something correct and it tells me I am wrong. Very frustrating. How am I supposed to learn? I paid for a lifetime membership of DISAPPOINTMENT.

Very unhelpful and unclear

I'm learning German, and the speaking lessons are the most difficult because of the app's inability to recognize the actual words being spoken. For example, I was in a room of people speaking English while doing my German speaking lesson, and i paused speaking because it was too loud. The app heard the voices and thought that they were saying the words on the screen, so it accepted it. However, when I tried to speak clearly and carefully in German, it would say that I am doing it wrong. The app is also very faulty when it comes to audio, because sometimes it does not give the right audio to match the picture. This caused problems with moving forward because of me not being able to match the sentence to the correct picture. Some audio cuts off at the beginning or the end, which makes it difficult to understand which picture it matches with. Also, finding out the direct translation is difficult because of the lack of explanation for each new word, and the only clue being a very vague picture with many things going on. This app is incredibly nit-picky, and I would recommend not downloading it and wasting lots of money.

Great app

Rosetta Stone is a great app for learning any and all different languages and it teaches in different ways to help people understand and remember.

You can get a job

This is one of the best apps in order to grow and expand your knowledge of languages. Now I do use this app along with ChatGPT, but this combined can help you no to grow in language to learning as well as develop further vocabulary in the language. from this, you can learn as much languages as possible in order to be a translator for school or for a lawyer‘s office or for business that needs interpreters and translators.
