Not reliable

Depending on this app for transportation is absolutely terrible

Good, could be better

Main reasons why it’s a good app, you can get a ride wherever for 2 bucks and call it a day. However, what I don’t like is when you schedule a ride, and for some reason it’s delayed, it could take over 30 minutes for you to be picked up. When you have work, that’s simply not an option. It’s not right to wait over 30 minutes when it’s a scheduled pick up time, and let’s say you cancel it, if you cancels rides too often due to this then they limit how many you can book in a week. How’s that fair to the rider? Other than that, the app is easy to use and the drivers themselves are great people. Maybe buses should have more maintenance so it’s easier for both the drivers and rider.

Not impressed

While it can be a convenient option, The cons typically outweigh the pros and can quickly. It should be called “RTC book 5 days in advance” vs “RTC on Demand” because if you do NOT book ahead of time you simply will not get a ride. It’s ridiculous, not only is it super hard to even get a ride the pick up and drop off times are so inconsistent. you will either be picked up 10 minutes too early or 20 minutes late there is no in between. Drivers are alright, but will pick up up 2 to 3 passangers during your trip which will inevitably make you late. This wouldn’t be an issue but i think it’s insane how people who get on the bus AFTER you will be dropped off BEFORE YOU. this could be a revolutionary app if they actually cared enough to make these changes. But who knows

Awesome program

This is an absolutely amazing program and hopefully it can be expanded to more areas. This gives so many ppl the freedom the deserve to travel as needed/wanted. It’s extremely affordable and the drivers are all so nice and caring

Use To Be Great

This bus use to be great. Now it’s very mediocre. The biggest problems are the extra bookings they make while passengers are already on board the bus and making them late. For the past month and a half I’ve been getting picked up late, dropped off late and they took away the SSTT stop after 830am. Why? Who knows. Why even take this bus when I’ve still got to Uber from my drop off due to missing my connecting bus? And do they care? NOPE! More like RTC on THEIR TIME! I even started booking for earlier times and I’m STILL getting picked up late and dropped off late. What’s the point if we still have to pay for an Uber because we missed the connecting bus..

A hundred times better than wack RTC busses

Moved to the southwest where there is legitimately only one bus line within miles of my house and even that is always late or too early so you cant rely on apps like "transit" to get a bus on time, also only runs east to west so getting connecting lines is the only option, once i found out about rtc on demand ive never looked back, you just gotta schedule it on time cos they are very busy and booked for the next few immediate hours a lot of the time. But waking up at 7 and requesting a trip to my work about 5 miles away and luckily still in the covered area is a breeze, i am always on time and dont have to worry about connecting lines etc., and would recommend to anyone who lives in the covered area to try it out.

horrible

This app is horrible

It helps somebody with a disability

It helps us someone with a disability and it’s great and cheaper than an Uber or we need for the regular RTC buses

On demand finally services to SSTT!

All riders not just those with mobility issues can now schedule drop off to the south strip bus terminal! So convenient and needed

Cheap ride

I just rode with this service and I was amazed with how fast it was and cheap if you come in with the mindset that it is basically a uber share pick and drop off was clean no problems will be using in the future I paid only 1$ since I have the reduced fare ID

Cool service but the app needs more features

The On Demand service for RTC is awesome, but really only if you live and/or work in the far Southwest of the city since that’s the only place that it operates. Booking is smooth enough and the drivers are almost always on time.

The app could definitely use some additional features though, particularly to help reduce missed rides. Like an “add to calendar” function would be great, and a feature for reminder notifications. I know it’s not a ton of effort to do this manually but I think if it was built into the app, it would help a lot with missed rides.

Another thing— when canceling a ride in advance, it asks for a reason why and selecting one of the prefilled reasons is required. However the only options are things like, “I was late” and “I wasn’t ready for my ride”. In my opinion, these are silly options for a ride being canceled in advance. At the very least, there should be an option to cancel in advance simply due to the rider’s plans or schedule having changed. I know “other” is an option but it’s annoying having to fill out the mandatory text field for something that I’m confident is an extremely common reason to cancel a scheduled ride.

Thank you for helping me

I am someone who doesn’t own a car and I need help getting to work my family help me but there are days when they can’t I like Rtc on demand because I only pay 2 dollars is cheaper than Uber and I feel more safe .am not a fan of Uber because of the price I don’t feel comfortable riding in someone random car a bus is more professional.I will recommend to my coworker who needs help getting back home safe they come right on time.

Just Use Google Maps

I love this service. It’s incredibly convenient and hopefully it can be extended to the rest of the city to help alleviate the public transit issues. My one complaint is that the drivers use Apple Maps instead of Google. I have had issues with drivers missing stops because of the inaccuracy of Apple Maps, which tends to tell the user to stop after they have passed the stop. Google Maps has no such issue.
