Disappointed

Coming from a company with a unique and such a well thought out app like Strava and seeing so many high reviews I expected this app to be so much better

The questions asked prior to the plan are way too generic and none of them fit where I was currently at. The “feedback” after a workout is a simple thumbs up or thumbs down. They ask about past injuries but then don’t dive any deeper than “did you have one” I was 2 months removed from a broken arm, there is also no way to input that you’ve experienced any minor injuries during the program in order to have adjustments made

The only saving grace for this app is the ease of which it works with my Apple Watch

My most regretted purchase

So expensive and the app essentially doesn’t work. Do you want to hear pace updates while you run? Too bad, your headphone connection will randomly drop mid workout with no way to manually reconnect. Do you want your pace to be accurate if you run between 9:30 min/mile and 6:30 min/mile? Good luck! It will function half the time MAYBE. This would be fine if the “sync from another app” function actually worked, but it doesn’t! On top of that, I’m pretty sure all of the “training” is AI generated at this point, and the targets are ambitious to the point of injury. Truly the worst.

I paid $180 and app doesn’t work

I paid $180 for the pre my and it’s asking me to pay again

Strava

Don’t waste your time or money. Goose Strava and thank me later

So expensive and AI

Be wary this app has a TONNE of ai building runs. It’s not quiet the “Trainer” USP they once had.

And one thing an AI does not know. Is your body. Be wary.

Not that great

It’s fine as a general guide. Also customer service doesn’t exist if you need any help. The AI bot is useless and real humans don’t get back to you. Trying Garmin Coach instead.

Runna

Great app. Improved my time and long runs . Great way of improving running.

App won’t initialize after adding recovery plan

The app was phenomenal and exactly what I needed UNTIL I finished my 9 week plan.

Upon selecting to add a recovery plan, the app completely broke. It no longer utilizes at all, making it and the money I spent for a year plan useless.

Reinstalling the app does nothing to resolve the issue. After logging in upon reinstallation, it simply crashes at the Home Screen with your day’s workout and goes back to this loop of failing to launch at all.

Fun and useful

Really useful for making a manageable running program!

Love Runna!

This app has been so great to get back into training.

Was good until they added the paywall

I’ve been using Runna on and off for a year-ish. I’m accident prone but genuinely found the return to running plan to be the best plan for me.

I’m finally injury free so decided to try again only to find anything after week 1 for ANY run now hidden behind a paywall?? I already pay for Strava, I’m not paying £100 for a year when there are free alternatives. Absolute joke.

I CAN RUN!!!

I never thought that I would think of myself as a runner. But I saw Runna used in the YouTube video and I decided to give it a try. It is completely changed the way that I see myself and what I can do! I absolutely love the running plans and they really build your confidence. At the end of the week you’ll have a run that you don’t think you can do but everything that leads up to it prepares you for it. It’s awesome. I can’t recommend it enough.

Love it

Heard some good things and took a risk in purchasing the monthly plan. Cost is higher than others but I love that it adjusts based on how your doing, tells u if your running too slow or too fast, and gives feedback of how you did afterwards. Best training app I’ve used for a marathon

Plan & Go

The plan and coaching process has really helped me to train for a half marathon and beyond. The plan keeps me safe from myself in wanting to push without purpose. The coaching is working and the feedback after training is accurate and relevant. I’m learning a lot and prefer the flexibility of the app vs having to meet someone else’s schedule.

1/2 marathon training

So far I’ve truly enjoyed Runna. It’s taken the guess work out of my training.

Really awesome!

I’m training for my first half marathon and I really love using the app! I appreciate the mapping and how specific it gets on all my metrics.

Great variety, doesn’t always listen.

I think the app is great for providing well rounded training plans. However, the app has a tendency to ignore the data available to it from sources such as my Apple Watch. The app, consistently, barks at me for ruining “all out” on easy days when I barely get into some 2 and am yapping away with the people in my group or on the treadmill next me.

Structure for my week

Have been using for around a month. The app ‘holds me to account’ to complete the scheduled sessions. I can move the scheduled activity days to fit in with my life and the twice a week strength option means that I don’t skip this important part.

Easy and Adaptable to Use

I’ve been wanting to get back into running for a while and just started training for a 10k work runna. I’m 4 weeks in and loving it so far!

Training for first marathon

I got Runna to help me train for my first marathon and, so far, I love it. The planned workouts and runs have helped me focus my training by mixing in interval, tempo, easy and long runs. I use my Apple Watch on runs and love the guided coaching feature. The coach reminds me to stay within the pace requirements for each part of my runs. I also like the warm and cooldown stretches with easy to follow videos.
