What's New in RunNerd

1.6.2

August 10, 2026

This release is about accuracy — in what we record during your run, and in the plan we build around it. GUIDED RUNS - Fixed a bug where automatic pause detection could stop the clock while you were still running, making your pace read faster than you actually ran. - Audio coaching no longer goes silent mid-run. Mile and half-mile cues play reliably, and the mile callout is easier to follow. - A finished run can no longer be lost if you close the app before saving it. We now recover it and offer it back. - Your run keeps counting past the prescribed distance instead of ending on you. - GPS distance is more accurate — we smooth position data before measuring, removing a consistent over-measurement against watch distance. YOUR PLAN - Plans now respect the experience level you gave us. Some runners were being held to beginner mileage limits regardless. - A run you've already completed can no longer be changed by a later plan edit. - Adjusting your week can't shorten it or drop days you didn't touch. - Fartlek and hill runs are guided as continuous efforts with mile-by-mile pacing, matching how they're actually run. ALSO - More accurate run analysis, including treadmill and manually logged runs. - Log a run the app never saw. - Fixes to Home, weekly recaps, and notification prompts.
